wow, that was very useful, I am just getting into this now, how do you force open a userform in VBA, for entering values in a table, could you help with the whole set up please?
calculate the time dfference between to cells of military time format and return the results into minutes.
I have searched everywhere on the net and can't seem to find anything that works. I would be extremely grateful if you would be able to help, perhaps a quick video ... I am sure there are others out there who are as frustrated as i am.
@nitotech Yes, staff accounts use macros because most of them use Excel heavily and writing Macros can automate tedious or time consuming tasks from minutes or hours to seconds. Plus if you can write macros it will set you apart from the rest of the accountants who cannot. You can take your job to the next level.
@nitotech Basic recorded macros like the one in this video are good but they cannot be customized so learning to write macros yourself is where people in the industry really set themselves apart. GO to ExcelVBASql [dot] com. We teach you everything you need to know from the basics of macros to writing complete programs. We walk you through the code line by line so check it out. There is over 20+ hours of free video training on macros. ExcelVBASql [dot] com
Could you help me plz?? I have a user form and on that form is a textbox.Data from a cell on the worksheet is read into that textbox and the user can observe it. A simple calculation is done on the cell before it is read into the text box. This produces a number with a large number of decimal places. Even though I set the number of decimal…
… places of that cell to 2 (via right clicking on the cell and selecting "Format Cells...") the number read into the text box still displays all the decimal places.Could anyone tell me how I can set the number of decimal places of the text box itself?
I can use some help, I created a button, I have asigned a macro to that button
The VBA is:
Range("A11:Z13").select
Selection.Copy
Range("A62").select
Activesheet.Paste
Please help me rewrite a code that will upon clicking the button that the macro range A11:Z13 will look for the last data entery in column "F" and then proceed to paste one row below.
I also notice that the outter edges A11:Z13 are flashing, I have to hit ESC key to get rid of it.
This is the best one on youtube yet. Thanks for creating this example from scratch, I've seen some on youtube where they had a template ready, which I found hard to follow if one doesn't possess the same template.
Dear Editor, my question is; In a worksheet how to find a word; say "total", select all the raw it falls in, plus the two following raws, paste it into a new worksheet, for instance sheet 2. Knowing that the word "total" falls in the first column (A).Many thanks and regards. Kindly reply to (alzaidy@msn.com).
It is so clear. I'll be following your lessons since I'm a beginner.
Just a suggestion: It might be helpful if you're already teaching us along with the videos the shortcut keys that can be used while doing it so as to familiarize ourselves while jumping up to the next levels.
Fantastic video and clear guidelines, this video helped me to understand VBA, the other tutorials that I watch made it seem more complication. Thank you so much.
Thanks for your video.. Its really helpful.

1. How to format cell to reflect military time 00:00 (dont need date or seconds).
2. calculate the time dfference between to cells of military time format and return the results into minutes into a 3rd cell/column.

Your Videos are fantastic.- Thank you.
I do however have a problem where I am trying to get excel to:
format time to military time 00:00
calculate the time dfference between to cells of military time format and return the results into minutes.
I have searched everywhere on the net and can't seem to find anything that works. I would be extremely grateful if you would be able to help, perhaps a quick video ... I am sure there are others out there who are as frustrated as i am.

@ExcelVBAHelp Do you mean basic macros (when you just record it) or when you write the code yourself in visual basic.
