I think one of the most decisive moves of this game was when you decided to use that missile launcher solo against two tanks. Missile launchers must always be backed up by another motorized unit or at least plenty infantry.
Not sticking up for Sony here, but I don't think the original version was German... "Psychos" "Pyros" "Machine Gun" "Flame Gun"... Not very German sounding words, are they? But there right there in the video...
And the bitmap brothers own website says they were based in Wapping, East London... There MD was Mike Montgomery, again, not very German sounding, is it?
And presumably that is why in Win 95 it worked fine. 98 needed a patch, and ME worked fine without a patch, but the menus always localised to German (even when installed from the English disc)... Great game, I just wish I wasn't so bad at it

The red guy used the wrong strategy. he used 15% on the left 45% on the front 20% on the right and 20% at the fort. but you supossed to backup the front with 3 groups of snipers and if you can, load them up with some psychos. while your doing that, load some lights from the fort and then surround the nearby enemies by doing 75% front and 25% left. the right place are only used to guard the safest backup soldiers.

You can download Z95 with original expansion kit
from the site zzone[dot]lewe[dot]com (see forum).
It natively works on XP and Vista without any DOS Emulators.

it was not translated. the makers(bitmap brothers) were in germany, so the games original version is in german.

A true fact is that the windows version, called Z95, was created in Germany. But you are right: the original version was in English.
