EJ looked really good in this game. If the refs didn't blow the call on that last deep ball to Smith, it wouldn't have come down to Hopkins. That said, I'm glad it did because that was a season changing kick. Watching this gets me excited for this season. EJ is going to be unstoppable.

He just nailed a 60 yard kick in the 2011 Spring game. I can't wait to see Jimbo give him a chance at breaking the NCAA record. Kickers like Hopkins are very rare and I think he has a legitimate shot at hitting a 65-70 yard kick if given the opportunity. Not to mention, he will light your ass up on kick-offs.

@pcvb3 Hopkins said later in an interview that he was more running away from everyone so he wasn't stampeded than he was celebrating. I wouldn't want to be crushed by the rest of FSU either because we all know big some of them are. To the Tony Steward saga....I respect his decision to attend Clemson, however I feel that under the direction of Stoops, he would evolve into a much better and more publicized NFL ready athlete especially considering the direction FSU is going. Such is life though.
