WE ALL WATCHED POKEMON and Yu Gi Oh and BEYBLADE and still love those shows. The a nd while im on the topic, the dubs ending makes sense, the anim e was ending on a cliff hanger and they werent going to get the 2nd movie so they just decided to just drop that part out and not having people go "WAIT WHAT!?" The changes are as "HORRIBLE" as people make them out to be, and yes.....the voice acting aint perfect. but this is a solid B+ Dub, and A- translation. Im making a compare vid eventually

other than the relationship being changed, GRanted she did seem to wait for clow reed, so maybe she did like him, whatever

this movie is better as a dub cause at least the dub tried to be decent with Sakura, like when she finds out her dreams are real, she acts scared of the notion

while in english she's like, WELL, Ive been doing this magic thing for adub.while, so I I should stop and find out why all of this is happening. people REALLY want to rag on this dub, when this isnt a terrible dub

I think what is more startling about this dub change is the change in music. Most anime, at least in my experience, don't really change the music. They might do a dub of the song but they don't change something very orchestral into something that sounds more rock.

For me at least that is the most jarring change between these two snippets.

Digimon their soundtracks were reworked, and it worked there. I like the dubs soundtrack equally cause unlike elitist I dont fully enjoy japanese soundtracks. The Dub was aiming for what other dubs aimed for, GRAB the MOOD and the magnitude of the situation. so here in japanese it sounds like SUPERMANS come to save the day, while in english it has the signiture victory theme/defeat theme

japanese is so much cooler in my opinion x3 and their emotion flows through their voice better than english dubbed in my opinion xD

Anime movies in general tend to be more enjoyable in their original language and form than their dub counterparts. The dialogue here isn't any different though. The part where they messed with the dialogue was when they explain the relationship between Clow and that villain lady whom's name I can't remember at this time.
