I'm not sure why Gratex decided to change the standard definition of strawman there, I think it just confuses things.
Just be careful when you characterize your opponent's argument, as a general piece of advice. If you are unsure exactly what your opponent meant, simply ask them. It's a lot easier than arguing against a point they didn't intend to make. A lot of times it does just come down to communication errors and assumptions.
I must admit, the accent is my greatest weakness to the oposite sex. Lucky to have an aussie bride.
