Our church ( Faith Baptist Church, Roanoke, Al) is having a revival. We are in our 4th week with 117 souls saved. Bro. Mark Stroud has been preaching and he mentions Dr. J. Harold Smith almost nighlty. What a blessing to have men continue to carry the Word! I can't wait to meet Dr. Smith in Heaven. How sad it would be to go to Hell after hearing these great men of God.
He preached his last video taped message at my church when I was a pastor. He stayed in our home too several nights the last year of his life. What a great man of God. He wrote a letter to God every day.

Revelation makes it plain that the dead are not alive.
"The rest of the dead did not come to life..." (Rev. 20:5). Here, the Bible plainly teaches that the dead are "not alive." They are not alive anywhere. They are not living souls. They are not disembodied spirits living somewhere else. They are simply not alive. They are dead. God's Word cannot be more plain. God cannot be any simpler. Satan says the dead are alive. Are you going to believe God or Satan?
Dr. Smith was a dear friend. He preached two revivals while I was Pastor of First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake, Florida. He preached "God's Three Deadlines" the first time we had him. I sure miss him!
I heard this sermon 19 years ago, I had grown up in church and had been baptized as a small boy. Upon hearing this preacher I realized I was lost, I literaly got down on my hands and knees and beged God to forgive me and save me. I can't wait to see Dr. Smith in Heaven and thank him for his faithful service.
I hate that men like J. Harold Smith, Oliver Greene, Maze Jackson, Lester Rollof, Jack Hyles etc... are not around anymore. There are not many men of God around to replace them. Revelation 22:20

I believe there was a BIG BANG. YES when GOD created the universe I Believe there was a Huge Bang!
I would rather believe there IS a God, & find out there isn't; than believe there ISN'T a God & find out there IS!
The fact we do not have clear agreement is an indication of how difficult to see with any REAL certainty.
Except what is written " The Bible"
I think it's fine to say "I don't know" But to say , " There is NO GOD" , is obviously a response to " There is A GOD ! "

wonderful and mighty Biblical teaching.
these old time preachers are few and far between now, in this era of compromise and apostacy.
I have managed to gather a few together in my favourites bon my channel along with some other goodies.

j harold is one of my favorite radio preachers who they still play.i used to listen to him every morning on my way to work.
