Mitsuhide is questioning himself, wasting time, and Motochika basically says "hurry up and decide before everything is lost" (I.e. the breaking of the strings) At least that's my interpretation :)

Ranmaru and Nobunaga have a love story between them, in history. I think that’s one of some reasons why KOEI make Ranmaru look like a girl. Thank God that KOEI didn’t make Maeda Toshiie look like a girl too, because he was Nobunaga’s lover too when he was a kid.
