This is the type of punk I like. The good old Ramones and Generation X sound to it. Some modern bands that have similar sounds are the Queers, the Muffs, young Green Day, and Rancid.
Go, go, to see them! After more than 20 years since I bought their compilation finally I could see them live last night in my town, Turin, Italy. An amazing gig, they gave us two encores with "Ramblin' Rose" and "Chatterbox" and then we talked to them, very good people! ENJOY THE ZEROS!
Me and Baba's Brother Kevin played together back then and every now and then Baba would sit in with us and it was just the coolest of times. They were a great band and we played the crap outta this song and wore the grooves off of the little 45 Kev scored for me. Their parents were just the greatest.Letting us jam in their huge living room in National City. And feeding my orphan ass. God Bless the Channels.
You are Mexican too??? How many Mexicans are there? Hahahaha... I like to joke around, no offense to you, guey. Yo tengo muchos amigos de Mexico. Mi grupo favorito es La Plebe. Mira mis favoritos videos...and tell me if you like them or not. Orale homie...
really? im from san diego and i dont know many punk bands from the area besides battalion of saints. could you tell me some of the bands that come from here?
Just because you're from your home town does not necessarily mean you know what's up about it's past history. I think Count 5 might have been from San Diego or San Jose.
Four vital elements of punk: Energy, melody, simplicity, and snarl
