Pit is a weak, light weight with very few moves that can knock out at 100+ of damage, not to mention the moves are hard to land. So to you ike fanatics complaining about arrows, perhaps we should complain about your disgusting ability to knock out at 50-80 damage.

I agree, Ike will be low to bottom. He might rise a bit after more development, but I don't expect much from him. Pit might start kinda high and slip down some. Looks like it'll be the same old Fox/Marth/Sheik top. I don't see any of the new characters changing that.

@Diem, or w/e. I'd like to just through out there that your comment on D3 killig pit at 60 is bullshit. At 2:03 D3 hits you with a up tilt while your at 100+% and you survive. His up tilt also being one of his quicker KO moves (IF NOT his quickest).

This vid is loading too slowly for some reason but from what I've seen it's not worth my time. If I was your friend I'd just put down the controller because constantly dodging arrows is not my idea of fun. It's a shame Sakurai wasted his time with a whole moveset for pit when all he needed to do was let pit shoot arrows.

You don't spam to rack damage. You shoot arrows to confuse your opponents, an open opportunities. Pit is a weak character, and needs a lot of thinking to win.

Don't know if it was just reflex, but you don't have to edgeguard Dedede cause he can't grab ledges after his UpB, iirc.

Yea he would be a great character, he is very fast like link and his bow is a huge improvement from any of the links bows. If your looking for a fast KO power hitter, then no. Pit is more on the fast and quick damage side, i suggest trying Link out also, he looks like a really good character also

Link looked good in the demo. I think something happened to him in the actual game.

Best character now imo is Zelda. One of her only weaknesses in Melee was that she doesn't run, jump fast, or wavedash fast (and also a bad recovery move + bad down air) But now, not only does she run and jump faster, they made her stronger, buffed her hitboxes, and made Saria's fire as spammable as Pit's arrows.

His recovery is balls too. If you get hit during your Up B you're done. I really don't think Pit will be too high up on the tier list, other than for countering the big slow guys by spamming arrows.
