  • belkin is a peice of shit company

  • It's a wide band jamming device and will be banned once Ofcom are dissolved and a more robust body put in its place

  • Looks like a lot of ham radio people have spammed up the comments section.

  • Comment removed

  • I give it a 0 stars, as it preforms illegal operations by causing harmful interference to the HAM frequencies, the Broadcasting frequencies, the Aviation frequencies, and the business band frequencies. I do not advise people to buy this product, just use Wi-Fi or an ethernet cable.

  • These devices are soon to be banned as they interfere with aviation radio communications so my advice is not to buy them..

  • its not hard to notice every comment here has been made by someone who works for another company and trying to reduce Belkins sales... idiots

  • I agree with previous comments, this equipment interferes with everything radio way to much. The y should be banned, get yourself the latest gemeration wifi and be way faster and do not polute the radiobands. PLC is antisocial!!

  • idlmike. These devises and others similar are going to and already are causing interference across the radio spectrum making the hobbies of short wave listening, ham radio and general radio reception because of high level of interference nothing will be heard. We already have this problem with Plasma TV's and Wireless Alarm Systems. Best place for them is a skip as their Electro Magnetic Compatibility just doesn't cut it in threal world!

  • I give it ***** for ruining radio reception!

  • Having first hand experience of the effect of these devices on Short Wave, AirBand & Broadband use.

I can say they do block out Shortwave radio Broadcast or Ham Radio, they also make weak Am Airband radio hard to hear & slow down the broadband internet. Having had OFCOM Govement body remove one local to me & seeing the change, I wonder why there not already banned & wonder will it take a Air to Air crash because a pilot or control not hearing traffic.

  • These things have made my life hell, cant even hear my radio station anymore.plus it slowed down my internet speed. Bin it. plus this can cause interference to other peoples radio up to and beyond 3 miles, and they explode in the plug socket

  • These things interfere radio from short wave into the VHF spectrum and should not be used.

If Ofcom were to do its job, these things would be illegal in the UK

  • It is amazing to me that this stuff still is being pushed. Apparently people who buy this stuff never turn on an AM/FM radio in their own home. It is unnecessary technology for those who are too lazy to make a run of ethernet cable or configure a wireless router. If it only affected their own residence, that would be fine. Unfortunately, their neighbors will also be subjected to the interference. I suppose if you want your very own BPL system, this is the answer...

  • This stuff wipes our broadcast radio reception, and can affect aviation radio frequencies well away from the site where its used.

  • Degenerative technology which affects other services. Why do manufacturers persist with producing this rubbish when WiFi is readily available at reasonable cost?

  • @Iona8888 cas wifi is the biggest load of shit created?? i mean are you fucking retarded you've clearly heard of the internet did you know you can listen to the radio on it?? doubt it ... and don't say wifi is good its not the loss in connection is terrible coupled with hundreds of other external factors caused by other wireless household devices and not to mention the fact half decent online gaming at a competitive level becomes non existent people say wireless is the way forward i say its not.
