We all know Dyzee had the most votes before going into this physical ballad voting.

He wasn't even near top three here. Actually second last.

No offense to Roxrite but Dyzee deserved to win.

For those who know Dyzee's long list of accomplishments, workshops, beliefs and judging history you know what I mean.

Sadly the voters were only Bboys who had the time and money to be at this event.

@AstrayChronicle not everyone finds Dyzee's 2010, nor did he battle half as much as the other 4 guys he was up against. there's a big group of people that completely disagree with his judging system and dislike his style too.

regardless, it's not like Roxrite isn't fit for the award. where Dyzee may have lacked in some categories, Roxrite and Thesis contributed more and vice versa. at the end of the day, you should've saved up and flown out to support Dyzee if you feel so strongly about it.

@AstrayChronicle His resume was impressive but, I have to side with Focus over both. He judged just as much events as Dyzee, taught more workshops, rocked the circles mad hard and organized some events. In terms of Roxrite v Dyzee both put skills to test about the same amount (including cypher battles), & Roxrite taught more workshops. Dyzee has a long list of accomplishments but, this was only for 2010. It it was a lifetime achievement award it would've gone to Ness, Poe One, K Mel.

@AstrayChronicle If it was a lifetime achievement award of the final 5 I would've still sided with Focus. The guy does so much and I don't think he gets enough recognition. Dyzee doesn't either but at least he got a lot of online votes. in the second online element round.

@AstrayChronicle For sure I thought it was a good idea until the final voting was at Outbreak. This is a poor way to label bboy of the year. Shit doesn't make any sense. It's an American bboy thing. Focus and Dyzee had a huge disadvantage but the people who deserved it the most were Dyzee Focus and Roxrite cause they put in hella work into the scene and they weren't all about winning jams they were about bboy. But I think Dyzee shoulda won too.

Also, if you notice, MANY of the 77 comments agree with RoxRite winning the award. With that being said, ROX RITE(like all other finalist) deserved the award and the bboy community chose him as the 1st ever winner.
