That looks great. I wish my raytracer was that fast :-) And it sure is a lot easier to find the perfect starting values (x,y,z,w) on yours; I did trial and error (try a number and see if it gives an interesting result).
@nuclearthelab Forgot to mention that a part of your video (around 1:53) looks similar to the area I raytraced in my Reap The Whirlwind video. Could be either a close starting seed or one of the symmetrical areas,
