  • Hopefully, radical jihadists have Olbermann in their sights.

  • @ccfb40

Read a fucking non-partisan, accurate history book. Reagan RUINED this country. Jimmy Carter actually did some really good things for this country. If the following presidents had been like HIM, we'd be in a futuristic utopia now, complete with solar power and hydrogen, electric, or solar/electric cars, instead of a dystopic, corporate slum where everyone's broke and we're paying $4/gal for gas!

  • olberman has balls

  • Who cares who says it, if the message is correct and moral!

  • My focus is on the content as opposed to the mouthpiece.

  • Way to sock it 'em KO! It is sad to know your words fall upon deaf ears...

  • Bush apologize?

Don't hold your breath waiting for that.

Bush = worst President in U.S. history.

  • I agree ...and The Pope John Paul said Bush is the anti-chrsit ..I beleive that to !

  • lol... did he really say that? too funny!!

  • i would certainly disagree. bush is not equal to the worst president in this country's history. he has far surpassed that. he is, in effect, > worst president.

  • You are right.

    I stand corrected.

  • rofl....

  • jimmy carter! it took a RONALD FUCKIN REAGAN to bring us out of that shit

  • jimmy carter didnt create the problems he had to deal with. and he was one of the only presidents in history to try to do things without creating backwards ass new laws that he could overstep. read a fucking book.

  • This man NEEDS to be made President; right now.

  • KO is the bomb!!

  • heh u yanks seem to be quite nazi fans.

who used the waterboarding, fear/war mongering and ofcourse ur own "Homeland" term by Adolf :)

  • darus - if all i had to go on, about us yanks, was our current president, and his supporters? i might think that too.

but i'm sure you'll recognize, in Keith's statement, and my desc (here and in my other clips) that there have been voices of dissent, here, all along. yes?

    peace.

  • Ofcourse. but not so many... :/

for example i've watched ur elections and saw some Debates with Ron Paul and was like "is this only candidate who is sane" but he isnt doing so well... finnish media already says its obama or hillary what they have leeched straight from Fox.

  • You were watching the primaries and came to the conclusion our leaders are elected? Which elections were you watching? The New Hampshire 'elections' with the missing mag cards? Or the flat 5% Ron Paul took in ACROSS precincts, for hours, in the most diversified state in the world? Why 5%?

Are American leaders appointed or elected?

If the latter why do we have 'irregularities' almost across the board? If it's the former how do we correct the problem?

  • aye... it does seem that your voice doesent realy matter :D

Finland, the least corrupt country in the world! yay us. lolz

  • Excellent. Perfect arguments. Olbermann is becomeing one of my favorite people.

  • I want to bow down and kiss this man's feet. Thank god we've still got *some* kind of competence in this country.

  • get off your knees and BE what it is you see.

there is plenty of competence and greatness in the USA, but we all need to live up to the legacy created by the founders and fought for by so many. the world needs peace NOW and it is up to each of us. but KO is awsome, and Bush&friends need to be OUSTED!

  • We will find out about torture from suspected Al Qaeda operative Jose Padilla's appeal. He is a US Citizen having been born in Brooklyn, NY. He claims he was tortured into a confession. Perhaps Mukasey did not want to say that Waterboarding was torture because then he would have to vote that way again.

  • I'm a fan - I want to hear more and only wish I could imagine Bush might listen.

  • check out the video "beyond guantanamo".

  • bush is a fucking assholle

  • he's a fucking puppet. the real assholes are the ones who are hiding in the shadows who need to be outted.

  • klscott1 - Wow. I guess you're one of the 20% of this country that still thinks Bush is competent.

Goes a long way in explaining why you so desperately need to get laid, that most of your Favorites list is soft-core porn.

    LOL!

  • You laugh out of ignorance. There's nothing funny about the Bush Crime Family.

  • "Shock and Awe" equals "compassion and decency"? Logic is not your forte bushbaby. Your brains functional capacity leans noticably toward that of a retarded neanderthal.

  • Olbermann is a brave soul, and he always gives me hope. A true American!BRAVO!

  • Amen, Olberman.

  • PWNED!!!

  • Powell is just as complicit as the rest of them.

  • Throw The Religious down the Well.......so our country can be free.

  • quit the religious BS. this isn't 19th century america. god and state do not mix.

  • wow, this is even more true now that its a year later. Its obvious that Olbermann is fed up and he did his homework. Apologize Mr. B!

  • like keiths good friend dan patrick always says, keith is the man defending democracy. big ups KO

  • Haha, near 5:00 Olbermann says in-douche.

    I win.

  • So now George is an Islamic extremist? i thought he was just a lousy president who was in on a false flag conspiracy. We need to do all that stuff you say George. Hoo Rah!

  • I gave up on organized religion over twenty years ago because it has become a tool for powerful men to control the masses. Also, it separates humans into groups while causing wars between them. It separates males and females too, making the female subservient to male rule in this patriarch world. Men created organized religion; I believe God created all humans equally, yet no religion reflects that belief. Impeach Bush/Cheney!

  • great guy man

    bush is such an idiot

  • Olberman is an ass. He better pray that the right maintains the White House otherwise he'll be out of a job and end up working for In Touch magazine. Olberman and the left think it is okay to quit, okay to doubt, okay to fail, and believe that there are no consequences for doing such. There's the critical difference.

  • You use words "quit" and "fail". This war IS a failure, and should not be. And "doubt" you use, too. Yes, it IS ok to doubt. Especially if something is a nonsense. You should ALWAYS question if there are reasons to do so, otherwise the world descends into an Orwellian fascist-state.

  • It's a failure? I still see FOBs everywhere, and not one of which held by US forces has fallen. You may qualify this as "a nonsense" (sic), but I believe the reasons to continue (and if we are still continuing then we haven't failed according to my logic) are clearly evident. I've been there, I've seen it first hand. Olberman, Anderon Cooper and the rest of the lot are the chief manipulators, and no one else.

  • Sorry, man. I don't know what "FOB" is. I only see reasons to PULL OUT. To keep fighting is to make a victim out of an innocent nation, to kill its people, to make this Vietnam II. My father lost friends in that war to the draft. The right's a bigger manipulator by far. You show me Olberman, I'll show you O'Reilly. You show me Anderson, I'll show you Coulter. If Olberman manipulates, it's to save lives. The right wing manipulate to make money. Rich-bred f##kers.

  • Don't worry, I don't completely disagree with you. If Hillary or Obama or any of the other militants achieve office, I'll have my fair share of doubt, questioning and classifications of "nonsense" at their moves I can guarentee.

  • Obama a militant? How's that? Bush is pro-military (even though he himself was a draft-dodger). A chickenhawk. And don't you worry, I don't trust Hilary either. She was for this stupid war. I examine both Left and Right. History's taught me that, in the form of Hitler on the Right and Stalin on the Left.

  • It's honestly kind of cherry-picking to take the "it's unacceptable to think" line in the context that he does

  • Brad2070: if you were capable of intellectual honesty, you would admit that those guilty of "blind passion" are those who still support Bush. This goes beyond partisanship, right on into fanaticism. There is no other explanation for defending his continued smirking arrogance, given the mistakes and/or lies of this administration.

  • There is no man that can stop these public servants. We have to give these people over to the Lord Jesus Christ. When the Lord Jesus Christ repay nobody goes to prison. Remember they will reap what they have sowed. It is written "All liers will have their part in the lake of fire." Remember the rich man in the Bible? He open his eyes in hell too. What is sad is that they all say they are Christians. It is written "if you refuse the truth God will let you believe a lie."

    DBW

  • But Diane...what about those of us who aren't Christian? We have to live in THIS world, NOW. And a)these people hold Jesus as their saviour and b) they have higher authority than most in this world, and so they get to play the "christianity card" better than someone actually well-intentioned, which is one defining reason for why religion should be kept OUT OF STATE AFFAIRS.

  • These people are not first ones to use the title christian as a cover to do evil. All I am saying is it is written "This kind of demon comes out by fasting and praying to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remember Hilter, Alex the Great, ect. There will always be men who want to take over the world. However, it is written "Heaven and Earth belongs to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Don't be scared! Just watch them all being exposed.

    Great News

    DBW

  • I agree with the first sentence of your writing. And maybe it's written, but it's written in a book whose contents are flawed. (Y)our Lord and Saviour is your belief, not mine. And no, I'm not scared. And I honestly hope they ARE exposed. But, as the movie "The Power of One" says, history is not kind to those who hurry it.

  • These people are religious people at heart. However, what the Lord Jesus Christ gave us is Salvation by God Grace; to represent him in this world. He said you will know his deciples by their behaviors; not by what they call themselves okay. All they preach is fear which goes against what is written in the Bible. They are wolves in sheep clothing who will open their eyes in hell........sad!!

    DBW

  • You're talking to the wrong person in the wrong way, Dianne. You won't reach me with your God-talk because I'm not Christian. But I do hope that these wolves in sheep's clothing find their come-uppance.

  • I am not trying to reach you. I am just real like this because of my history in America. I have learned not to trust no man with my security. This is not God talk this is coming from my personal life. I am not a christian either. I am a Child of the living God not the God of the dead. So I live in peace not fear okay.....smile. The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independance is also written with flawed contents in a document.

  • I'm interested. What do you mean your "history in America"? Looking at the next section of what you've written, I'm starting to see some similarities between us. (^0^) I hope your country can overthrow the tyrant.

  • America is my country. It is written that all governments shall be upon the shoulders of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So I am not worried. It is written let the blind lead the blind. I am not blind and everything that is happening is happening to pass not to stay. The African American history in the United States has been shown all over the world. American is a nation with no creditability at this time when it comes to democracy and freedom for everybody.

    DBW

  • You say "our Lord and Saviour" Jesus Christ. But you also said that you're not Christian. How's Jesus your Lord and Saviour, then? Also, whilst not intending to take away from the seriousness of their struggles, it's not just the African-Americans who have had troubles in America, although they are probably one of the better examples. Of course, I study from the outside, because America ISN'T my country. However, they do affect MY WORLD. Good luck to you, in these "interesting" times.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ did not call us christians. He said we are the children of the living God once we accept Him as our Lord and Savior and follow his directive. The deciples were the first ones to call themselves christians. The name christian is no better than the name baptist, ect. The Lord Jesus Christ did not come to give mankind a new religion. For that I will always be gratful. Religious leaders rejection brought enternal life to the whole world.

    DBW

  • Olbermann for president!

  • george bush is tryin to manipulate the image, he wants it to look like ALL americans are good and ALL islamics are terroists, americans are ignorant cause of george bushes admin, look how pissed of he got what capo or whatever said is that hte morale reason conflict with bushs actions

  • And thirdly, we have separation of church and state in this country because true faith is a personal private thing for the individual, NOT for government, which is there to maintain order FOR the individual. But even if you WERE right, and it was appropriate to make policy decision based on one religion, do you really think Jesus Christ would approve of everything George Bush has done??

And PS I ain't no cowboy, but I know how to draw

  • Secondly, this president, regardless of the 2000 election, had a 72% poll rating after 9/11. That, my friend, is a clear majority support. When you go from 72% to 24%, either everyone in America was invaded by body snatchers, or you have done a pretty terrible job at being president.

  • Brad2070, you're very topical in your logic. This president could do no wrong six years ago; his actions speak for themselves...and you're flat out lying when you say he's apologized for anything in his two terms

  • I am not flat out lying. The fraise "mistakes were made" was used by the president many times so easy there cowboy! Six years ago he could do plenty wrong many had bitter feelings from the electoin where he narrowly lost the popular vote and still have them today. Many people dislike him dispite the war many because he uses his firm faith in Christ to influence many of his policy decisions.

  • LOL wow where to start? First of all, the PHRASE "mistakes were made" is nowhere near an apology. The president's recent apology over Walter Reed was a true expression of sorrow and I was glad to see that(for the first time ever).

  • This administration has done more to appease opponents of its policies and stances than necessary, Bush has admitted mistakes on several occasions when he never should have in attempt to come together. Fact is he can never do anything right in the eyes of democrats in congress and many in America who hate him with a blind passion.

  • This administration won't even admit when they are wrong, so don't hold your breath for an apology.

  • Yea, 'republican strategists' have an entire freakin' network (FAUX) at their disposal. How much more do you need cons? Total domination & monopoly huh?

  • Once again, GWB proves that democracy is a defective system by which a tyrant who doesn't allow people to think differently from him can be elected and re-elected in this country. By cheating and lying to this country, GWB is definitely willing to sacrifice poor ordinary Americans' lives in foreign countries to "do his job."

  • I don't want an apology. I want him to have an once of honesty to step down. I bet when he is finally out, the real estate market will go down in the area he dwells in. People should spit at him for the rest of his days, if not imprison him to say the least. I would not want him to have the death penalty, I would want him to be put in State ville prison here in Illinois. I would be

interested to read the paper the next day. He has no remorse.

  • I am tired of News playing the WWF announcer for the peoples emotions and logic. When will this Bastard Administration be gone once and for all. Indignation is a waste of time if no good action comes from it. Impeach this self righteous Ass. Our Government serves

its people and Governs itself, not the other way around.

  • Bush never regain my confidence. Never had it in the first place.

  • Bush is a moron, it is Cheney behind the idea of going to war with Iraq, that is while Colin Powell quited.

  • Bush is not only a spoiled little baby, but a war criminal and his legacy will be one of corruption and evil.

  • The American people - at least some of them - may be benevolent and just, but I doubt the current administration is vaguely similar.

  • all political power is inherent in the people and all free governments are founded on their authority and instituted for their benefit and that they have at all times an undeniable and indefeasible right to alter their form of government in such a manner as they may think expedient Under that gospel the citizen who thinks he sees that the commonwealths political cloths are worn out yet holds his peace and does not agitate for a new suit is disloyal he is a traitor

  • I agree 100% I thought that All American media had blinders on, I stand corrected! He must pay for what he has done. He must not be allowed to get away with it. If he does then America has no heart. For the sake of all the dead soldiers and many inocents, 1000s of em, for the sake of everyone on this planet I hope America has a heart. America has much blood on its hands. Who will have to pay for that, America, or Bush?

  • Those were not the words of Thomas Jefferson... but of John Locke.

  • America has killed 655,000 innocent Iraqis in the war. Innocent people killed in order to achieve an objective.

  • This distgusting pos does the brave task of spitting venom at people all the time with out allowing them to respond. If he had ne balls he would invite a republican strategist on to tell him why he is wrong on nearly every issue evry night.

  • And how are any republican (fox) talk shows any different. What are some of the things he's wrong about btw. are you a republican strategist?

  • How come the neo-con posts, like this one, are horribly elligible and pissed-off when compared to the other postings?

  • bush is such a numbskull that its hard to believe it

  • Too bad republicans don't TRY to think. I don't dislike President Bush as much as I dislike his lemming-like followers. They'd think Bush is the right man even if he was in Al-Quaeda (not an original statement, read it somewhere)

  • nice one. sorry but fucking hell bush is intentionally inciting religious hatred by using Islamic extremists and is only going to make more extremists if he carries on speaking like that.

  • This man is a beacon of light and eloquence for the very fabric of our society. Sit up straight and heed his words. We need to act on his words.

  • Holy shit I'm impressed... with someone in the media?!?!

    Weird.

  • Welp, most people seem to be confunsing the "fight for freedom" with the fight for oil.

  • the fact abu graib even happened is a stain on america

  • Maybe we dont see pictures of things like abu graib in other countries b/c their soldiers cant affort a digital camera or internet. Or maybe they are too busy trying to survive on their income to email them to the press. Life is never so simple as that, and shame on YOU for trying to apply a privalidged US mindset to a select, extremist population of a 3rd world country. Anyway, just remember that NOTHING so complex can ever be summarized in 8mins and get out there and learn something.

  • You think income is holding these people back from expressing themselves?

Nor can it be addressed in a paragraph, apparently.

  • killing innocent woman and children in order to achieve an objective. Well, I would call that war.

  • i would call it terrorism

  • Nice job Oblermann - it sounds so nice and is such a relief to hear thoughful sanity coming out of anyone's mouth these days. Let's all work to make this a more common phenomenon - staring with what comes out of our own mouths.

  • The terrorists win each time we lose our freedom! The terrorists win when we live in fear! I will not live without my freedom! I will not give up my peace of mind! I will not live in fear! Impeach the President! Feed the hungry! Educate the ignorant! End illegal drug trade! Stop torture! End the war and give Iraq a chance at peace we beat the terrorists!

  • SergioMomarsh: I agree with you. We should not sacrifice our liberty to feel "safe" from the "terrorists. Here is a quote from Benjamin Franklin.

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

Even if terrorists do exist we should not give up our rights to protect ourselves from them. Everyone needs to watch 911 The Road To Tyranny. You can watch it for free at google video.

  • UTubefactchecker... what exactly doesn't he 'get'? what do ratings have to do with the statements he made? if you base how valid something is on ratings... the best music out there is those on American Idol...

and what's exactly is your point that GWB was elected(supposedly the first time) and re-elected have to do, once again, with ANY of the statements that Olbermann made? You've basically called Olbermann names without disputing a single thing he said.

  • FatassChecker is just another o'reilly stooge. i'm surprised hes still willing to prove it in public.

o'reilly gets his ass handed to him by keith every week! how long before EVERYONE figures out what a MORON bill is!

  • I agree with u. How can someone talks about rating success as base for quality comparison. Reality Shows are high in ratings, news about PAris Hilton is high in ratings, MTV is high in ratings, Jackass is high in ratings, is it because they are high quality? (let's compare them to Educational Programs on PBS channel). This kind of narrow thought process seems very common now in America under GWB. So bizarre.

  • The terrorist have already won if it's turned this country into scared, Dr. Philled, whinny pussies. Go ahead, be as scared as GW(he always looks rattled and defensive). I say fuck um, let them come. Just my home town, The Bronx would be enough to take all of Al Queso(with cheese). If your scared just say your scared, pussies. Me, I'll take my freedom. Remember kids, if you don't support torture then Jesus says you'll go straight to HELL.

  • right on, brother! HELL yeah!

  • awesome dude

  • jimid64: If we want to protect ourselves against terrorism we must take two simple steps. 1. We must not give up our rights in the name of security or in the name of anything else. 2. We must be well armed. A well armed public creates a free society protecting us from criminals, government and terrorists alike. Everyone needs to watch 911 The Road To Tyranny on google video. It has very good info you should all know.

  • i dislike bush very much but alex jones in a retarded conspiracy theorist with mental problems... the movie is not worth watching.

  • ifukyouintheass: Realy, and what gives you the impresion he is crzy? Has he ever said something that is not true? If so, give me specifics.

  • Yeah, because guns solve everyones problems.

Norway has the strictest gun laws in the world. I don't exactly see violent crime running rampant there, let alone political tyranny, increased poverty, and waning education.

  • You're a jackass and everyone here who have their head stuck in their asses.Americans have been the lone power so long that even their INNOCENT public has become addicted to power,ur arrogance can be seen from everything u say.

  • It's a sad that people are willing to slowly give up their rights here so that Bush can "bring Freedom" to another country and any one here who disagrees has something wrong with them. I heard a women say that she was willing to give up her liberty for freedom!? Freedom and liberty are the same.

  • If this was about "bringing freedom" to anyone, Cuba would have been closer and easier. So, you can put that lie to bed.

The only motive is what I've said from the start. This is about Israel. And those favoring the invasion of Iraq at the highest levels are traitors - sacrificing Americans for Israel's goals in the Middle East.

  • Though not the "only motive", I'll certainly agree that Israel plays too great a part in the equation. And Palestine, probably not enough. That is an ongoing imbalance, and a very shaky one. Hopefully that can head in the right direction again soon.

  • Israel?!

It's oil, always has been oil, always will be. We finance a violent regieme change through our military intervention, Texaco and other US oil companies can secure a guaranteed future supply of American oil, now that China and India will be taking a much larger share from the world markets.

  • (cont'd)

Spreading freedom, stopping a madman... all that talk is just to secure votes from the American population that can't relate to the fear and greed that truly drove the current administration to do the things they did. Weapons of mass destruction? Please.

  • (cont'd)

We *know* Iran and North Korea are a bigger threat-- hell, they told the world they are. But Iraq's army was more disorganized, and Iran's disinformation to the Bush administration made it seem like it'd be a cakewalk to remove Hussein.

  • Well, Israel is the only one who benefits. Oil? What oil? I don't see any cheap oil. Oil for Israel, though.

Google "iraq israel pipeline" From the Guardian....

"Plans to build a pipeline to siphon oil from newly conquered Iraq to Israel are being discussed between Washington, Tel Aviv and potential future government figures in Baghdad."

    Open your eyes.

  • My point is that the reason we went into Iraq had nothing to do with freedom or WMDs. It was purely about oil. I don't doubt the Guardian's article, but until you know who brandied these ideas around in Washington, it's just speculation. I'm sure someone in Washington is in discussions to create a multimillion dollar bridge in Alaska, but that isn't happening either.

  • If it was even discussed we should open a pipeline to ISRAEL after they have done nothing but cause problems in that area then it would be an outrage.

  • ur right

  • Ben Franklin quote " Those who give up freedom in exchange for security deserve neither."

  • Yep Those stupid Sports Broadcasters cannot be taken seriously. Just like Ronald Reagan....

  • Great job name calling... So first grade. At least Olbermann isn't wearing rose colored glasses. Attack is all you know how to do. It's okay, go ahead. The repulican reign of denial is about to end anyway. Suck it up.

  • you are an idiot ted

  • fuck ur dumb... u dont get the full picture, do u.

this guys speakin truth, there should be more of his kind who satnd up and have enough courage to talk about what they believe is wrong! i take this man more seriosly then most of the world leaders, especially ur stupid pres Buttmunch Bush.

  • Keith O is such a bedwetting, intellectual midget. He just doesn't get it. That's why his ratings are much less than Bill's ratings--how pitiful. In case you missed it Keith O, President Bush was elected and re-elected, and I seriously doubt that President Jefferson would be comfortable or pleased to have you quote him. Get in the game loser.

    UTFC

  • GeorgeBushButtKisser

  • Checker - Bush was not elected in 2000. He was installed by the Supreme Court. :-D

And I seriously doubt President Jefferson would be pleased to have you offer HIS opinion on a goddamn thing. Go back to your Kool-Aid.

  • I hear in your response that you only make the most insightful and well researched arguements using objective facts.

I'm so grateful that the United States was founded as a democratic republic with Freedom of Speech as the primiere right for all those living within it borders - but then I guess they never said anything about the right to think, making it acceptable for Dabya to tell us we're not allowed to! (now that's sarcasism)

  • UTFC - Oh, and you "get it", right?

Guess what. The Senate just signed away YOUR right to Habeas Corpus.

Just how bad does it have to get before Bush apologists like you, who DIDN'T READ THE FUCKING TEXT ATTACHED TO THIS VIDEO that told you WHY THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING, finally figure out how badly you're being USED.

Congratulations, retard. Aren't you proud you fought for the winning team?...

  • Unlike you, idiot, I happen to be a Constitutional scholar. Guess what? The Senate can't sign away anything. You would do well to educate yourself beyond your local community college little fella. We live in a representative democracy and the chief difficulty that you are having is that you are on the wrong side. You and your Jesus-killing friends are out-of-touch with Real Americans and you can't stand the thought that conservative Christians have taken the media from your friends.

  • Yeah. I killed Jesus. Me and my buddies strung him up.

And you happen to be a Constitutional ignoramus, who will someday realize just how badly he was used.

You're welcome to keep posting if you like, but you're a joke to me and you're just driving up the comment count for more of my "Jesus-killing friends".

  • UTubeFactChecker you are an Idiot. Check that fact out!

  • tokyolobby>

So you don't agree that the words used by Bush are terrifying? I disagree with a lot of people, and I'll willingly debate them loudly, but they certainly hold the right to their beliefs, once you start talking about ideas and thougths as unacceptable, however farfetched and stupid, you're heading down a truly dangerous path.

  • Gw's job approval rating just went up...so you guys can stick it where the sun don't shine :)

  • zac, I've read this exact same post from you word for word at least twice today. Don't you have anything better to do than cut and paste all day? Or is '...stick it where the sun don't shine.' the best you could come up with and you have to repeat yourself?

  • LOL! BUSTED! you go, lefty! give em hell! :D

  • It always goes up when gas prices go down... haven't you noticed the correlation? Statistics indicated it was over 80% of the reason for the approval increase.

  • Keith Olbermann may sound well spoken, but his comments are without substance and deliberately decieving in nature.

He clearly has taken the President's words out of context; distorting his words to fit his skewed logic.

  • When the president says "it is unacceptable to think that one can compare the actions of America to terrorists who deliberately murder innocent civilians," he does not mean that "thought", debate, or open dialogue are unnaceptable.

He is simply expressing his disbelief that one could equate the validity of the actions between extremist terrorists and the U.S. military.

  • tokyolobby, that's what you think? fine. you sound like bush's lobbyist to me, but fine.

but don't TELL us what bush was expressing or what he meant. i think Bush is a LYING SCUMBAG and i'd rather have a poodle running the country than him.

  • Ah come on...

    It's OK

    at this late date

to admit that the Pres of the USA is a tool, a jerk, a fool, an incompetent...

really, it's OK now to tell the truth.

Really, the longer you delay telling the truth about that, the worse YOU look: it's no secret, and the rest of us knew it all a LONG time ago. SSSshhhh. go back to sleep... it's all right.... sleep again....

  • Holy crap, this guy knows what he's talking about...

  • Furthermore Olbermann goes on to blur the lines of reason when he suggests that it is in fact plausible that the validity of the two actions are the same.

  • tokyo - Which "two actions" are you referring to there? This rambling nonsense of yours is so filled with "actions" that I'm not sure which 2 you had in mind...

  • No one denies that the actions at abu grhaib were very poor conduct. However, this is in no way equitable to those who behead innocent peacekeeping civilians, send helpless and dillusioned youth to blow themselves up and kill civilians, as well as call for the complete annihilation and destruction of the Israeli people.

  • tokyo - "No one denies" that, eh?

I've seen PLENTY of people, that hold many of the same opinions as you present here, denying EXACTLY that.

Who do you think you're kidding? Olbermann's viewers aren't as easily swayed as BillO's & Bush's.

  • tokyolobby: The iraqi resistance does not call for the complete anialation of the israeli people. The iraqi resistance is simply defending it self from an invading force and as human beings they have the right to resist. Just remember who invaded who.

  • "No one denies that the actions at abu grhaib were very poor conduct." Are you in jest? REALLY. are you? "very poor conduct". Give us just a very FEW minutes with YOU as the centre ring act in a waterboarding or a trick with electrodes to YOUR genitals.... THEN we can talk about the Geneva Accords and The Bush Thugs. PLEASE tell us that you're up for it. Please.
  • I would hope that people would have the sense of mind to really think for themselves and not be subject to such skewed logic as Mr. Olbermann's, simply because it is presented neatly and in an elegant voice.

  • tokyo, there's nothing 'skewed' about Keith's logic here. yours, however is questionable at best. and BUSH's logic is a JOKE.

i feel sorry for you, that hes still got YOU fooled.

  • tokyo - LOL! 5 posts, in less than an hour, with no one else talking to you. Cute! You reading from a prepared statement here?

Is this what you do all day? Go around squashing dissent, just like your President?

You don't see me posting on BillO's uploads, insulting people and trying desperately to sway opinion...

  • Keith Olbermann has always been so articulate and well spoken. Some one like him should really lead this country. At least he has the background knowledge of Philosophers on which this country was founded.

    Kudos for posting this clip!

  • Thanks, stuff!

Yeah, Keith has come a long way in the last couple weeks. Sure, he was great as the anti-BillO, and the ease and wit (and, clearly, fun) with which he boxed O'Reilly was always worth tuning in for.

But since the 'Reply To Rumsfeld', he's become so much more. And for me, personally, his interview with Tom Nicoletti is one for the vaults.

Read description for my O'Neill clip to know why.

  • I need to see more olbermann clips... do you have any more?

  • Click on my name, then click on "Videos", for mine, and "Favorites", for everyone else's. I have a Playlist for Keith's stuff there, too.

  • see also under 'olbermann'.

for some reason, if you enter both first and last names for yr search, you get nothing. dunno....

  • Thanks!

  • A Paul/Obermann ticket. Now there's a dream team.

  • And Stossel in the cabinet...

  • Stossel for Chief Justice

  • I'd get behind that
