@growyourgardens Not HUMVEES, 5 ton FMTV tactical trucks, much taller than a HUMVEE, but they are not submarines. General guidlines are that If it goes higher than the headlights you should not cross it unless it's Life or Limb....

elak1999---you're an idiot. I served 16 years and anything you do that senselessly risks lives is _STUPID_! This is, in fact, exactly the wrong way to cross a water hazard. Ideally the route is scouted, barring that the second truck waits until the first successfully navigates the water obstacle so that if the first vehicle runs into trouble it can help. Both driving into the water means there's no support if something goes wrong. Stupid and I hope the mission leader gets broken for it.
