  • @rileyup4077 or 8 people have been attacked by squirrel monkeys.

  • THEYRE SOOO CUUUTTE!!!!

  • HI! I HAD A FEW QUESTIONS SO PLEASE ANYONE ANSWER! DO THEY BITE REALLY HARD? AND DO THEY BECOME VIOLENT AS THEY GROW UP? HOW MUCH SHOULD I SPEND WHITH THEM EACH DAY? SHOULD I BUY 1 OR 2?

    THANKS

  • @emiliopenazepedak I definently wouldn't recommend any primates as pets because yes they do bite at any age they break vases and I'm guessing ypu can't train them. Monkeys really aren't good pets my mom worked at a vet clinic and a spider monkey had the get it's teeth pulled out because it bit the owner constently

  • All I could picture them saying was, "What the Fuck is this fuckery!?!"

  • I love watching enrichment activities for primates. this one is adorable!

  • Most epic video on the 'net.

  • Monkeys are awesome

  • bad blue jello gift...

  • They look more like their interested in the blueberries than the jello

  • I love it when they can't hold it or the Jell-o bounces away, then they're all like "whatever."

  • Is the Bronx Zoo still considered one of the greater zoos in the United States?

  • If they eat the Jell-O, it won't hurt them right?

  • @jake94 The zoo wouldn't give the monkeys anything that would hurt them.

  • what a tasty way to stimulate their curiosity!

  • Lol I loved it XD

  • no sound?

  • jello massage

  • Ha Ha. Reminds me of the squirrel monks I had for many years--one lived to be 32. They don't much like getting their hands messy. This video brings back fond memories of my squirrel monks

    Is it like "aluminum" ?

    Or "football" ?

  • 1:09

Looks like a trio of zombies with a brain

  • I think they're just annoyed that they have to scrape around all the gross jello to get to their yummy blueberries. I'm not sure I'd go so far as to call it enriching.

  • This is almost a ripoff of Polar Bear and Frozen Apples.

  • What's this crap? Its blue and jiggles....oh well *pawpawpaw*

    :3

  • I want squirrel monkeys instead of kids.

  • They weren't too impressed by the taste of the Jello, they need to give them some Jello shooters next time

  • i dont think they realized they could eat the jello, all they wanted was the fucking berries

  • @ihmen i thought it was poo.

  • adorable!

  • no, but jell-o sure does, it's like concentrated entertainment.

  • haha cute little buggers... at least they didn't put them in ice lol...

  • I want to see clear jello with pieces of meat floating in it fed to carnivores.

  • like a pork pie with no crust?

  • MY BROTHERS I HAVE FOUND YOU!

  • Jell-O-Licious!

  • so freaking cute! i wonder what flavor the blue jello was though...and was it one the zoo made, or a box mix? Monkeys hyper with sugar would be funny to watch too!

  • Sugar doesn't cause hyperactivity.

  • Thats pretty funny!!

  • I could watch this all day.

  • LMAO the one monkey at the end stealing the other monkeys Jell-o- LOL

  • theyre having about as much trouble with jell-o as i do lol would probably be a good idea for them to cut it into more managable chunks

  • They do that to simulate foraging. If you notice, they're mostly concerned with eating the blueberries rather than the jell-o.

  • so about a million years ago, a squirrel had it with the monkey.

  • *cute

  • oh GOD they r lovely .look at their hands ,they were so cut...

  • My plan worked Muhahahaha!!!

  • Love Bill Cosby but a good joke, now you know monkeys don't like jello. love the video.

  • LOL

  • cool

  • Why does this remind me of the Office when he finds his stapler in jello.

  • Cool monkeys... Although I don't think they liked the texture of the Jello... there's not much in nature thats edible that has that kind of texture

  • that is an amazing title

  • Haha, this is quite nice. =}

  • Monkeys make me feel like a little kid again! No matter how many times I see them I get giddy lol

  • funny monkeys.

  • Monkeys rule, nothing more

  • holy cuteness!!

  • Check out the fail attempt at :52 to break the jello.

  • dumb monkeys, what if it were poop inside.

no im not mad at the world! shut up.

  • KONAWA LAKE MONSTER VIDEO!!!!!!

  • try reading the description for the video - "...immediately stimulates their

    foraging instincts..."

  • Uh, read the description dumbasss. It's to stimulate their foraging instincts. Thus it's actually kind to them. God, people are so fucking stupid.

  • It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!!!

  • @Manors18 Same here

  • One thing is im vegetarian

  • Aww. Cute!!

Poor confused monkeys have no idea what to make of the jello. XD

  • those monkeys are so cute

  • Hope that they don't figure out that they are eating animal by products.

  • not really sure where blueberries or jelly are an animal by product.... maybe 50 years ago jelly was made from animals but not anymore ^^

  • I only wish you were right. Jelly, and Jell-o, are made with gelatin. Gelatin, according to Wiki (and other, more credible sources lol) is "a translucent, colorless, odorless, brittle, nearly tasteless solid substance, derived from the collagen inside animals' skin and bones." It is, and always has been.

And even if they knew what they were eating, I'm sure they'd be fine with it. It's not uncommon for wild Squirrel Monkeys to eat frogs.

  • Most primates can and will eat animal protein in one form or another. If squirrel monkeys were unable to, or the zoo felt it would be harmful they could have substituted agar agar for gelatin.

  • They're.not.eating.the.jello. They're eating the blueberries.

  • felifix, sorry but you are incorrect. Jello [which is gelatin] is an animal product (hoofs,knuckles,cartilage...) that's just what it is. While Jello doesn't state their true list of ingredients on the package, any credible resource will explain the source of gelatin.

(But if it makes you feel any better, Oreo centers used to be lard (pig fat) but now are veg oil based)

  • Yes it is still made from the same stuff you can get alternatives in some places but almost everything you buy with it is animal I have family that worked in factories and that is what they always use.

  • those little monkeys are smart

  • haha funny add that at the end of youtube watch?v=-_iAtEKLolI

  • LOL so funny to watch

  • i want one.

  • i LIKE THIS VID

  • NOMNOM NOM NOM!! YUMMMM

  • look at their tiny hands, so cute!

  • They need more books to read. That will soothe them. They are massaging the berries out with some sort of ancient paw rubbing berry appears out of jell-o magic. Cantelopes, peaches and peas in a pod. Nothing makes sense anymore but freedom. Keeping animals from being bored. To stimulate animals. So now animals have such a high intelligence that they need thought provoking things to do unlike what you hear mostly of how stupid animals are from the meat eating and religous side of life.

  • I think you guys need to just give them their food untaited

  • what? and miss out on such prime -jello rubbing-footage!?

  • LMAO!

  • They look like little babies!

  • Subhanallah! look at Allah's marvelous creation.

  • That was adorable....made me smile

  • Ahhh Cloverfield 2

  • stop introducing new advancements to them!

they'll discover ways to develop weapons and over throw us!

  • @ironandsilk

    new advancments? jell-o?

  • monkey is like..what the fuck is the shit alll over my berries

  • @boomdude07 lol

  • I do the same thing with my Grandma's jello salad at family get togethers

  • It's NOT because the zookeepers are bored, it's for the animals' mental and emotional stimulation to keep THEM from being so bored. A GREAT idea; so much better than freezing the grapes in ice!

  • So cute, you can tell by the way they're picking the jello apart that they have no idea what it is, but they're very curious. It must have been trippy for them, there's nothing like jello in nature.

  • @magicglitter what about jellyfish

  • @TarzanandRambo Haha, unless there's some feat of genetic engineering I'm unaware of, jellyfish don't come in a tasty blueberry flavour =(

  • Someone get them some spoons

  • Cute! At first it looked like they were trying to pick out the berries, but further through the video, it just seems like they enjoy playing with the jello as well as eating it. I love their little hands!

  • lmao someone was just bored at the zoo and just thought "hey, instead of just giving the monkeys there food... lets... PUT IT IN JELLO!!! MWAHAHAHAHA"

  • They're not eating the jell-o :(

But there's always room for jell-o

  • Very cute. Just look at them tearing them apart!

  • hi monkeyyyyys i want jellllllloooooo

  • This is so awesome.

  • Cna they be any cuter?? So nice to see them get to have this experience. You know they are enjoying themselves...

  • at 1:12 the monkey was all like "ehh.... * bite*" " HEYHEYHEY MINE !!!!!"
