  • people shud leave this masterpiece alone, dont do covers, nobody will ever have the same feeling that mr. green had!!!!

  • The sweetest blues gitar voice sound ever.

  • I wish I had the opportunity to see Peter and the rest of Fleetwood Mac 40 years ago...too bad I was born far too late! PG is the greatest blues guitarist of all the Brits!

  • This isn't the mr wonderful version.

  • @beatleswhitealbum Very true., the album version is unbeatable!!

  • This blues is amazing!

  • rock blues at its best, nothing can touch this

  • Oh dear... I love this song...

  • Lovely.

  • Still love this song, real blues voice, brilliant guitar. Such a shame Peter screwed his brain. In a recent TV program McVie was crying his eyes at when describing the time Green left the Mac. The group was never the same again.

  • He never done anything different from the rest of the band, so that's a bit harsh to say "he screwed his brain"!

It was too much for him, and it also made him see the light... Ov the group was never the same again... But the train keeps a rollin....

  • Indeed

  • some asshole in germany tabbed him and Danny with bad acid. They both lost it mentally. Dont blame them.

  • The Munich incident is a myth. Peter Green wanted to leave Fleetwood Mac well before 3/70. If Peter Green's behavior changed after Munich it was because he was angry at Mick Fleetwood's ambition towards making lots of money for himself, and the band. Even before Peter Green discovered LSD, he thought of giving up playing guitar to own a pet shop. It was his nature. As for Danny Kirwan, the alcohol destroyed him, not some LSD from a night in Munich. West Germany.

  • @strangeones4: I dont think the Munich story is a myth. It's well documented and can be seen on the Peter Green Story 2 hr documentary. Only Peter and Danny were given the acid and both were never the same from that day forward. True Danny also had a drinking problem. LOL: If Peter wanted a pet shop why did he do at least 3 more albums and continue with music after FM. Whatever happen to the two of them I feel sorry for them and the fans who love their music because we all lost so much.

  • @MorroccoM13: The reason I think the Munich story is fictional is because of the performances Peter Green gave following that concert. It maybe some of the best guitar work Peter Green ever played. On this website is the Stockholm 4/1/70 version of "Got a Good Mind to Give Up Living". If you thought New Orleans 1/31/70 was instense...Compared to the known "acid casualties" of this period, Peter Green didn't go into zombie mode ala Syd Barrett, or Skip Spence after "Munich".

  • after green left the mac they carried on and in their next tour in america mcvei went out for a few minutes (and dissapeared for years) . peter was asked to fill in and he did as a back up guitarist and vocalist but on their last night he walked to the front of th stage and rang out that unmissable note for black magic woman (which lasted for 4 hours) if only i had a time machine.

  • It was Jeremy Spencer.

  • I ment spencer sorry

  • Beautiful.

  • damn straight! hauntingly so.

  • He seems to create a kind of vacuum around me. Whenever I listen to his music, I feel like a 1,000,000 miles away from the real world. It makes me think of things I have never thought of before.. Music can do that!!

  • Superb!

  • The business

  • Wonderful DK. I am fortunate to have the album and never tire of listenng to this track.

    Keep it up man

  • Definitely one of my all-time favorites.

    Thanks !!!

  • Yeah Stoffe me too, remember when i heard this for first time. Believe it was the first blues ballad i had heard from Green, was like " This is what i have been looking for", it melted me.

  • Just realised this is the version i am on about, haha.
