I just read a study done that higher gas prices are saving THOUSANDS of lives due to less traffic, people driving slower, etc. The report was done by two study groups, and they put the lives saved at close to 1,000 per month in the U.S.Also, the enviroment is much better off, as less huge gas guzzling vehicles are on the road, less emmissions.This is a welcome silver lining we can all look at concerning this "crisis". Who knew high gas prices would equal saved lives??

we don't have enough refineries and many are in bad condition. this is all because of oil companies to keep gas expensive.
