  • Sorry for the typo in my last comment. It should read: I can hear Flo loud and clear.

  • @proverbs1824 anyway, there are three voices on the harmony vocals.

  • I not hear Flo loud and clear. It could be Barb on harmony with Mary and Flo, but after she left the Supremes in '62, Diana often added her voice to the harmony vocals to make up for the loss of the fourth singer in the group. So, it could easily be Diana as well??? And, I say maybe. The group recorded so many songs with Barb and without Barb, it's hard to say.

  • Barbara is on this song

  • Flo can be heard very clear in the ending of this song

  • I hear Barbara on here too!

  • That is one of my fav pictures of The Supremes, they look like inocent playfull girls.

  • i definately hear what i think is barbara's voice on the track. but she left by 63. another possibility could be that motown used the andantes to fill out the supremes' sound. by this time, they'd already been used on several marvelettes and vandellas tracks.

  • I thought I heard Barbara on this song! But according to the notes it was after she left so I was like... hmmm...

  • The vocals are with Barbara, but the group picture is with Betty McGlown.

  • betty looks older

  • In Mary's book she says that Betty was much older than her or Diane, and even Flo (who was older than Mary and Diane by 6 months). There's another picture similar to the one posted with this video that is with Barbara Martin.

  • i love all of them but i always will like flo the best:)

  • i love flo an barbara in this song

  • I love the Supremes. Their music will be played forever. They really shaped the way music was in the 1960's.

  • dope song! it was recorded 2 days before my birthday! may 8th..Ricky Nelsons birthday! thanx 4 posting

  • What CD/LP is this on?? Nice Mary Wells groove to it!

  • The Supremes Rarities Lost&Found 1960-1969 or something like this =D

  • What did Barbara Martin do after she left the group? Did she continue her singing career after she gave birth? Does anyone know if she keeps in touch with Mary Wilson?

  • shes on youtube singing i looked up her name and it was a video of her doing praise and worship at her church strong voice.

  • She left the supremes do form a family with her husband

I don't think she returned back to a solo music career and I also don#t know if she stell keeps in touch with Mary

  • idk sounds like Barbara martin to me, its the some voice in the back ground on "Who's Lovin' You" and Barbara is on that one with out a doubt

  • I can confirm that this song was indeed recorded in May 1963 and Barbara Martin is not on it, the other voice you hear could be on of the Andantes but personally I only hear Flo and Mary on the back, Diana may have provided some background vocal too for extra fullness to the song.

    Hope this helps?

  • if it was in may 1963 barbara can not be on this.

    So you are right

but it really sounds like barbara and not like one of the andantes =/

  • they had another girl which noone talks about name barbara moon glow she was in after barbara martin left .

  • I don't know about her I know only betty McGlown and after her Barbara I never heard of Barbara moon glow

  • i accidently typed that i meant to say betty mcglown.but barbara is on you tube shes doing praise and worship at her her church.

  • ahh okay =)

    I like barbara's voice it's so different

  • What is the clip listed under with Barbara

  • Its Barbara Martin

  • thanks =D

  • @MotownMaster the extra voice on this song is La Brenda Ben

  • @soulballad I don't think so as the extra voice sounds nothing like La Brenda Ben. The tone and timbre of this extra voice is identical to Barbara Martin's voice.

  • loool you can hear barbara and flo very good =D

    they both had clear voices

you can hear flo very good when she sings "tenderly" or "Love to me" or "ahh" like barbara with her retero alto

I love this song I also Have it

it was released on the lost and found this year

    thx for posting =)

  • Great! Thanx and Babara or someone else is definitely there!

  • exactly! i hear Barbara too

  • No Barbra is on this song...you hear a middle voice in the background

  • I've never heard this song. Where on earth is it from?

  • Am I the only one who hears Barbara in the background with Mary and Florence?

  • If I remember correctly the extra voice in this track is La Brenda Ben. It was confirmed by her on one of the boards a few years ago.

  • Thanks for confirming that soulballad, I knew it wasn't Barbara on that song, but wasn't sure who the other voice was, thanks again.
