  • That must've been freakin painful. In Canada they call it Tailgating.

  • Payday!

  • One time I stopped (slowly/smoothly) to wait for traffic to clear so that I could turn left into my subdivision. I heard tires squeaking then a big THUMP- AW S%!)(7! No harm done, the other car had a small crack in the front bumper (the air bag did not go off in the other car but I don't know if it even had one) my car just got a little dent that doesn't even look like it was caused by a crash :D

  • Ya could of missed the first 50secs of this??

  • 0:52 You're welcome

  • scary to kno someone behind u is comin up quicks, especially if its last notice but i guess u already saw it comin. Good eyes on the road

  • so how is you new car doing?

  • i brake check assholes all the time works great if i want a new car brake check i'll win the case.

  • if the man behind u who hit u was smart he would have swerved to the right while he was mashing on the brakes and put his car in the ditch instead of just smashing on the brakes and then smashing into u

  • Driving too fast in the rain!

  • for the amount of time that the guys tires were squealing he should have been able to avoid that. rediculous

  • @eFFdRacing As is your spelling of ridiculous.

  • @irishrider1337 haha

  • That guy was fly'n behind you

  • Oh yeah, I'm gonna get paid!!!!!! This is just like winning the lottery!!!!

  • damn that was a massive hit...hope nobody got hurt...

  • If you can think of it, once the brakes lock up you get off them, get the wheels turning again and brake more progressively so the wheels don't lock up again. You'll pull up a lot shorter than if you just slam on the picks and slide screaming into the car in front. But sometimes you just freeze on the pedal. Better to apply the "two second rule" and reduce the chance of getting into this situation.

  • This could have easily been avoided. Don't drive fast, and keep a good distance (I am saying that to the driver that hit you).

  • 0:51

  • ppl need to remember the 2 second rule, which after watching 3-4 times, you weren't using, and it seems the idiot behind you wasnt either. Glad you are all ok tho...

  • Damn! If you hear the tires of a car screeming like that behind you you can only wait until he hits you.

  • @TheScorpionRMA yeesh, there was a second or two there which, If I'd seen someone coming for me, I'd probably've tried to get on the verge :S

  • Christ, how fast was the driver behind you going??? That's a shitty feeling looking up in your rear view knowing you're about to get nailed.

  • @slapurmommaz LMAO !!!!

  • and thats why you dont tailgate kids

  • fake

  • ...i hate to be a hater but i just have a feeling

That's all I have to say.

  • Whoa!! You didn't hurt your penis, did you?

  • Damn man, that's a pretty hard hit. Glad your OK though.

  • at least insurance will pay.. the one that hit you from behind is ALWAYS at fault!

  • @iMacAddiction121 Not always - other guy's insurance paid out for my wrecked front end after he braked suddenly entering a roundabout. It was proven that he braked hard for no good reason (said he saw a car, but it was clearly continuing straight on from other direction), and it was beyond my reasonable control to have expected it in the position we were in. Felt great, people who hesitate like that at roundabouts piss me off, nice to be on the receiving end of common sense in the legal system!!

  • damn.

i was just sitting there the entire time starting to think this was fake... then i was reading the description and i started hearing the tires.

  • @ChemSkies I was sore a couple weeks.

  • If you look very closely you can see a car turning left in front of the truck just before the camera falls down.

  • @jumper1294 I showed that to the man who hit me. He saw the truck was in front of me. He asked me why it stopped. I said , I don't know let's view the video.

  • @milkbone28681 OUCH!!!!!!!!!

  • ouch!!!

  • Hahahaha. Fuckin mint.

  • Dudadudadu huh oh fuc...... Eeeeeeerrrrr cruuunnnnccchhhhh fuck moms gonna kill me lol

  • Lol that guy must've been going very fast seeing how long we heard the tires

  • @sbrideau2000 Plus it knocked the camera off the mount.

  • We've all likely followed too closely at some point, but this video illustrates why it's so important to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front - not only enough space to give you time to stop, but also those behind you braking milliseconds later in response to your brake lights. With enough distance, you stop much more slowly, giving those behind more time to respond.

  • @stewartx5 Yep, less than a second behind the truck for most of the video. That is a long tire squeal, wonder how far the guy behind laid 11's.

  • @bryonlape

Notice the road conditions and working windshield wipers. Normal tires rarely squeal that loud on wet pavement, so the "squealing" sound was likely added to the video afterwards for dramatic effect. Either that or the vehicle behind had some truly serious foul weather tires to provide that level of grip to the road surface.

  • @stewartx5 that's bullshit

  • @stewartx5 it appears there was plenty of space because you can hear the tire screeching for 3 seconds. im betting he was driving too fast and didnt expect him to stop so slowed down too late and crash. i wasnt there though, this is just speculation

  • Is this in taylorsville nc

  • @Marine7R3 Yes

  • @milkbone28681 wn? oh and im a good guesser haha

  • @Marine7R3 Are you from Taylorsville? : )

  • @milkbone28681 i used to live on old wilksbro road haha

  • @Marine7R3 Oh I do live there. My family is all on Old Wilkesboro Rd. Where did you live?

  • @milkbone28681 stable brooke ln

  • @Marine7R3 Ohhh ! Up there beside the Famers - They live on the corner there. The corner of Old Wilkesboro and Old Wilkes Ext.

  • @milkbone28681 Were you hurt? That sounded really bad.

  • @riverlifeva, how DO you load videos? like a casette player don't you just push them in?

dumbass troll go back to ur bridge

  • Cam car has abs car behind has not hence the squealing tires from the car behind but why the hell is the truck intfront slams on the breaks for what from what i can see past the truck theres notting infront of it

  • @YeaniaAeon We reviewed the video and way in front of the truck at the front of the line of cars-one was turning left.

  • tht seemed

    painful

  • maby you should put the camra down and stop distracting other drivers.

  • @riverlifeva it's ATTACHED to his dash you dope. you do realise he's not holding the camera, right? i guess we can't expect much intelligence from an idiot who video smoke coming from a tree stump in a river and wastes his time uploading it to youtube

  • @roflniceone shut up troll you obviously don't even know how to load videos but thanks for watching and promoting mine:)

  • Shit! @___@

  • Skip to 0:50 to enjoy watching a person actually get crashed into.

  • Should of driven closer to the back of the truck..Didn't you hear them tires screaming .. save alot of time and money

  • @bestposted I lost no money.

  • @milkbone28681 not even on the stock market? Oo

  • @bestposted Hell, with all that warning time (screeching tires) he should have driven past the damn truck on the shoulder!

  • @mraurora HE was driving?

  • @bestposted you're a fucking idiot cunt. don't ever post such utter shit again.

  • @roflniceone Hey asshole why not get a life and a girl friend you homo faggot

  • @roflniceone Skaffa ett liv du bög jävel

  • The tyres on milkbone's car never even locked up, hows that for good driving on a wet road, not everyone can do that in an emergency / rapid stop type situation.

Hey, freakyflow , that wasn't you driving the other car, was it? :P lol.

  • Your car = The brakes on a Toyota.

  • Tire screech from hell

  • Oh what? This isn't the rear end hard slam I was looking for...

  • Thanks- Not what I thought.

  • Looks like South Ga. I swear I have been on this road before. Location?

  • @sbd45acp Hwy 64-90 Alexander County NC. 35°55'12.19"N 81°14'8.21"W

  • He was tailgating the truck. If he had left more space he wouldn't have had to stop so hard, possibly avoiding the accident. I'm not saying he was at fault of course. Just that if it was me behind the wheel, I would have put a couple more car lengths between me and that truck. Probably why I have never had an accident.

  • @bugio22 Things in the camera appear closer than they actually are.

  • @bugio22 You call that tailgating? He managed to stop quite easily when the truck hit the brakes, therefore the following distance was SAFE. Get a clue fucknut.

  • Thats why I would like a rear dash cam too

  • The general safety rule in wet weather is having a 4 second gap between you and the vehicle in front. I gather the car behind you was travelling too close as well. If you had left more distance between you and the truck ahead, you might have been able to give the car behind a bit more of a chance.

  • @53531640 actually that is for dry weather wet weather you should have at least eight seconds between you and the other driver

  • always give the idot behind a little tease with your brake lights so he backs off

  • @MickeyLove01 As somone who will ride your ass if your doing 70mph in the fast lane on the interstate when the speed limit Is 70mph. Those tricks don't fool me, and I haven't even been driving but two years. I got out of that stage of riding somones ass until they got into the lane they should have been in to start with, and now I just stay in the slow lane. I do the same speed, but I am able to avoid cop radars, and all I have to do is pass other cars, then get back in the lane. :D

  • @zlee415 But if the person doesn't take any notice then I would just slamm my brakes on until they hit me. Over here the person behind is the person at fault. I hoped you learned something from this day.

  • @MickeyLove01 What can I say? Shit happens.

  • @MickeyLove01 I would rather have no accident than give myself and the other driver grief.

  • that sucks man, i hope you were ok after that! do you have pictures of the damaged cars, im curious, it seemed pretty harsh! maybe you should put on a slideshow

  • Chinese tyres (tires), they don't grip wet or dry. And, isn't ABS a wonderful invention, the other driver should get a car that has it. Great video.

  • @UK5098 Thank you. A friend used it in a safety video for Saudi Arabia. Apparently they pass (overtake) on the shoulder and fail to wear seatbelts alot.

  • @UK5098 ABS is normally a terrible invention, it allows you to steer while stopping, but loses braking ability to do it. And if you can threshold brake, you can stop much faster, and still steer without ABS,

  • @UK5098 or learn how to stop without it.

  • @UK5098 Chinese American ...it doesn't matter you need to see the class of tire thats printed on the tyres (tires) Class A, B, C, D, each class is for wear, grip, snow / rain extra belts etc I mean you can have F1 tires but i wouldn't go a whole season with them .. This guy driving was only 2 secs behind the truck in the rain .. where 3 -5 secs would of helped the guy behind him

  • @freakyflow If he were driving too close for the conditions he would have hit the truck, but he didn't. The guy behind should have helped himself by driving in a manner to suit the conditions.

  • @UK5098 drivers hand book in north america states : Drivers must stay behind another car/truck atleast 3 secs. count the pole sided the truck to when it comes to the car ..2 secs ...count the time of the brakes heard in the video .. 3 secs ..which in rain isn't good plus sounds like the guy was speeding in the rain

  • @freakyflow They taught me one car length for each 10 mph. We were traveling 40mph and I kept 4 car lengths space.

  • @freakyflow What happened here was that milkbone28681 was driving within his abilities hence he was able to stop, with ample room to spare, whereas the other driver wasn't. Rules about 3 seconds etc don't take into account each drivers abilities and we know there are some crap drivers on the road because of all the videos of it on YouTube. The other driver was also probably messing with his radio, cigarettes, etc, etc. There is noway on Earth that this was milkbone28681fault.

  • Comment removed

  • I've had that happen also... It's no fun at all... I'll attach a video of it for you.

  • Ouch. I'm assuming you were wearing a seat belt, so hopefully the injuries were minimal. My friend was involved in a rear-end collision. The driver was going 30-40mph and didn't notice a stopped line of cars at a red light. She smashed into my friend causing my friend's car to smash into the pickup truck in front. My friend was wearing a seat belt and was ok. The driver who rear-ended them received a head injury (from hitting the windshield) because they weren't wearing their seat belt.

  • Even at 240p the brake sounds like...a brake. I've heard that one before, got rear ended once. Hope you were okay man.

  • is it just me or did that look and sound extremly fake?

  • @BrunostNOR It's just you. Is it not totally fucking obvious that I run a dashcam? As many dashcam videos of things that I have posted, and thousands of boring driving hours just erased... but all that does not matter. Two other crashes where cars plowed into me before this one were not recorded. This one just happened after I got the cam. By the way, I have a hi-def one being shipped to me right now. I will post the things it sees in two hours a day of driving, for fools to cry fake.

  • @milkbone28681 holy crap, I just said that it looks and sounds fake and you go all bananas! I didn't say it was... relax, man, you must admit that braking noise sounded like a cartoon...

  • @milkbone28681 Any Specific reason why you record your daily trips on the road? are they for specific purposes such as this?

  • @Explorer086 Between 2006 and 2008 I got hit twice. Both times were obviously not my fault. Both times the other driver told how they messed up. By 2008 I knew my luck could not last. I made the dashcam system. Mid 2009--- this crash. Now the repair garage people ask me how I am in the car with a target on it. But besides that, commuting 50 miles a day to work, you see things amazing, dumb, incredble, and dangerous. It's great to tell family- you won't believe what I saw-- and show them.

  • @moecat1000 Woah !

  • if i were the driver of the camry i would've driven up on the grass

  • How bad was the damage to your car?

  • People can hit me all fuckin day as long as I survive and they have insurance :)

  • i dnt know why i loled so hard

  • Simple thing people. The male/female behind him was going too fast. End of story, thank you.

And because they were going too fast- once they saw the people in front of them were stopped. They hit their brakes and they locked up. Once in skid, it takes twice as far to come to a stop. End of the second store, thank you.

  • It sucks that it was a busy road or else the person behind him could just swerve into the left lane and then stop, if she could even think that fast. but oh well. So much build up it almost killed me.

  • Reminds me of the time I got rear ended by a Neon while the road was wet, sounded exactly like that.. Though we didn't get hit as hard.

  • Just goes to show, you were following at a safe distance. The guy behind you was not.

  • @MadWeiner if you hear how long the sound of the sqeecking tyres where you would say the guy behind milkbone was on safe distance, but don't you guys have sort of ABS system? cause this car is just one big sqeeck

  • he must having been flying , i heard the skid for about 4 seconds , did you see it coming?

  • @bikerty67 I saw him before then on the road at times. But not right then. A Dodge Neon is high on the back and hard to see out of... besides , I just looked down and held on because I knew it would be a smack. I remember seeing the steering wheel the second before impact .

  • People dont know how to drive. You did fine, but the person behind you should have been paying more attention and should have swerved into the ditch. Probably on the fucking cell phone

  • Man you need to post more of this video, life after it happened.

  • epic video

  • that was a long warning....

  • wow that would feel weird " where that sound coming from... its getting louder... how o i stop it BANG'' died

  • damn that reminds me when i got rear ended

  • HOLY SHIT BALLZ!!!!!!!!

  • @DODGEMINIVAN2009 I know !!!

  • Did u hit the truck in front of u?

  • @raejaybigpapi No I did not hit it. Thanks

  • @milkbone28681 ur welcome. DId the airbags go off in the car that hit you? what car were you in in this video?

  • @raejaybigpapi The dashcam is mine. The view was my view. No airbags went off. His did not, mine did not.

  • @milkbone28681 thanks but i meant wat car u were in? Like make and model?

  • @raejaybigpapi I was in my Dodge Neon SXT 2003. Its a tough one. been clobbered 3 times. After the first 2 times I said Dammit ! and got a dashcam. : )

  • @milkbone28681 Car is named a Dodge for a reason people are supposed to dodge it other wise its always going to get hit lol

  • @RZRonTDU Ha ! Ha! They say this one of mine has a target on it. This time on video was the THIRD time I have been hit in it. It was the first two times that caused me to get the camera.

  • @milkbone28681 what is the common denominator in all three accidents?

  • @dlstb The only thing common is that none were my fault. #1 I stopped for a fire truck with siren and lights and a car clobbered me in the back. Wreck #2 I got hit head on in a turn , an older woman driver said she " could not turn her head to look the way she was turning"

Wreck # 3 you see it here.

Wreck# 4 on Dec. 12 2009 was a plane that crashed in the dirt real hard, I was not the pilot. We hit the ground like BOOM ! Rattle and shake to a stop.. And still I carry on.

  • @milkbone28681 1&3 seem similar, 2&4 seem like freak accidents. After having been rear ended by a 3/4 ton work truck in my old ram 150 (1991 model), I nalways check the rear view when I stop short. Sometimes I have to actually let myself get closer to the car ahead to allow the guy behind time to react. I suggest you do the same for safety sake.

  • @milkbone28681 Good move. I use one in the UK too.

  • I hate that sound. I was rearended in my 93 Acura Integra about 4 years ago by a 2002 Ford Focus. I was slowing down to change lanes in a 35mph zone, the girl came up behind me about 45mph and couldn't stop, she hit me so hard the entire rear bumper came off my car, the back of my seat colapsed, and I ended up on the grass next to the road. I was shaking so bad after I couldn't even stand up.

    Glad you were ok though!

  • @THEOMGTHOMAS1334 No, I have been hit 3 times in this car and they never have came out. It's OK .. I believe in seatbelts more anyway.

  • @milkbone28681 is that concord nc?

  • 0:50

  • Holy shit they must of been flying he had his brakes locked up for 5 sec and then still hit you hard.

  • The squealing of tires like that is a sound I dread most frequently now that I have my own vehicle. Sounds like you were hit pretty hard, were you and the other driver alright afterward?

P.S. Where you find good dashcams? I've been toying with the idea of setting one up on my dash for a while now just in case - because I drive a small silver car that no one seems to see on the road. I'd like to document how many people pull out in front of me.

  • @FlyingFatality We both were allright. I was achey for a week.

This dashcam is homemade. It is a Sony HDR-SR 46 Handycam running 480 TV lines. It is mounted to a standard police type windshield mount off ebay for $18. The mount screw is on top and the Handycam mount is on the bottom so I made a custom C-shape piece of thick metal to convert it. Once a week I delete the videos in the handycam if nothing happens. Thanks

  • The guy driving managed to stop fine but he did hit his brakes really hard. Keep in mind the road is also wet. His tires were probably in better condition that the Camry driver's, so when the camry tried to hit the brakes just as hard her tires couldnt hold the road and she just hydroplaned into this guy. The squealing tire sound is also really quite long for that lady to be tailgating him.

  • @mddm11772 The "rule" is to drive an appropriate speed and distance for the conditions (of weather, of your car, of the road surface, etc.). The driver behind clearly wasn't. The squealing brakes indicate the very definition of following too closely for the conditions. "Tailgating" is a relative term: if you are going 85 miles an hour, tailgating might mean leaving only seven car lengths distance between instead of 8 or 9.

  • @mddm11772 this guys full of shit it is his tires squealing ,notice how the sound doesn't change as the other car is said to be sliding into him (the squealing should get louder) , notice the g force on the camra as HIS TIRES start squealing, notice as this guy almost comes to a stop he gets hit without the sound of another cars tires squealing. thumbs up if you're not fooled by this idiots bad driving.

  • @mddm11772 I love how you just assumed it's a woman on the car that crashes even though the video description mentions the "dude behind".

  • @Glycogenic I didnt assume this it was probably just a miss type on my part but your right he has that it was a guy in the description.

  • @mddm11772 Your tires don't squeal if you're hydroplaning.

  • This exactly happened to me when was in a rental car on the highway. The area of the highway was known to be a black spot.

  • Ouch, Hope you were ok.

  • accident is at :50

  • About five years ago I got rear ended by some dumbass. His lame ass excuse was he thought I was going to run the red light. I was driving an old full size Ford conversion at the time & it was a Pontiac Sunfire that hit me. All I got was a scratch on my bumper & a small dent in the door. His car was totaled.

  • I hope you caused some pain to that goddamn motherfucker. I would kill him. He doesn't deserve to drive or live. Get the fuck of the goddamn roads if you can't pay attention!!

  • I hope you weren't hurt bad. I was stopped at a red light when a 90 yr old woman driving a Ford Crown Vic rammed me hard 2 years ago. I suffered back, neck and shoulder injuries. I also sued her company to get her off the road for good.

  • @scorpietta Gosh. When you got hit sounds bad !!!

  • @milkbone28681 It was bad. I am lucky I wasn't completely totaled. I could tell a few blocks away that she was having issues and sped up ahead to get out of her path. Unfortunately I did not make the light. Had there been a pedestrian there instead of me in my car, she would have done much worse damage. She came like a bullet. Those Crown Vics are solid metal!!

  • I went through something similar. I got a 96 suzuki Vitara/sidekick and got hit by a 07 silverado, where i stopped on the highway in a traffic jam and lifted me up onto the hood. Except the bastard didnt stop. He hit, lifted my car up, i landed and he hit me again. That hurt. Thank god my mini suv got Double chassis. What you driving?

  • @metroII Gosh, that was hard on a sidekick !! This was in my 2003 Dodge Neon SXT.

  • @milkbone28681 Well thank god for double chassis! All he did was bend my rear spare tire back door, (where the tire hit)mper cover and transmission got messed up. But, already got the transmission and tire repaired. Bumper cover and door if you dont look at it, you dont notice. They paid you though for the whole damages right?

  • @milkbone28681 They paid you though? What hit you?

  • @metroII Yes, they paid for the damage. I got it fixed. Its was an older Camry that hit me. The driver was very nice.

  • @milkbone28681 at least. the dude that hit me only said, " Sorry" and tried to drive away. I did not let him. Apart from when i got out to see the damages, the ass let the truck go and almost pinned me between both cars

  • @milkbone28681 haha at least it wasn't some ass hole kid who to try to blame on me after rear ending my car.

  • why did the truck stop so hard? that dude musta been going hella fast to hit you that hard after applying brakes

  • This video is fake...

(Didn't think anyone would know, did you?)

  • how did your neck feel?

  • @Coolito I was achy all over. The impact was so hard that the change from my pockets got pulled out into the back seat.

Later in 2009, I was in a plane crash where the plane dug it's wing into the ground. The tower audio and links from that incident are up also. The point is, the plane crash felt better than this one. LOL

  • @milkbone28681 damn dude you've experience hard crashes i mean i thought this was bad then i read abt the plane one, i wouldev pissed and shit myself lolz

  • @owen75 Double LOLZ !!! Yeah, Google - American Airlines flight 1402 which landed in Charlotte NC on Sunday Dec. 13th 2009. Me and 3 friends from work were coming back from a business trip to Denver Colorado.

  • fuck! that scared the crap out of me!

  • I know this accident wasn't your fault, but I am still going to comment on a few things I noticed that you could have done to avoid this. I think you could have given a little more space between you and the truck. 2 reasons: a) The truck doesn't have rear windows and you can't see around it. You had no idea what hazard was in front of him. b) the road was slick from drizzle (increased stoping distance). Your pace looked faster than the truck's too. Sorry about the accident though!
