why do people think nation states are a good thing? I think the nation state is a very outdated and both economically and socially restrictive entity.
Diversity has only bred war throughout history. People don't like people who are different then them. The world started to get better when the west rose to power and started radiating it's cultural influence along with it's trade around the globe. As larger and larger parts of the world came under this influence and started resembling the west the less and less conflicts there were.
I don't get how totalitarianism and loss of freedom come in, but then I haven't seen the video in months.
The establishment of a global Union one day in the far future will be the end of anarchy
and so the end end of war, injustice and imperialism.
(In countries you have hierarchy = all physical power in one hand, the government;
in the international state system you have anarchy, because there is no government --> every country has to "fight" for its survival / economically independence )

I doubt U have the right 2 speak out against Ur great country like this! I doubt U R presenting reality! I believe U only want 2 frighten us! U shouldn`t think in that disturbing manner about the honest and good intention of groups like CFR or Bilderberg. They only want the best 4 all of us and U harm their well being!

We have one of those corridoes, here in Texas. It is the IH35 interstate that extends as far as Mexico and I think it runs all the way to Canada.

Unification breads homogeneity.
We prosper in diversity, not dominance. Independance in property, sovereignty, spirituality, education & laws, fosters invention.
Why give up this culturally varied globe? It is this diversity that has created the world we live in.
Peace is a valid goal, but we won't succeed without the diversity of the individual & country. Totalitarianism won't bring peace. It never has.
Don't give up Freedom so lightly.
Have a backbone.
