- Does the game have open world? or is it like DDO (Dungeons and Dragons)?

- Is there a PK system in game? I mean like turn the pk on and kill people around instead of PvP.

- Does the game have Castle Siege and/or massive PvP Arenas?

- About the gameplay, do you point and click to attack? Or is it like DDO, click to attack?

@WildRnk The world is fully open and explorable. Quest lines will, naturally, take you through the various areas in order of easy to difficult. There is sparring. PvP is based in an open map area called the Ettinmoors. There are several keeps on the map that players have to vie for control of. In order to take control, a raid of free peoples (freeps) or monster players (creeps) have to take down a very difficult boss within the keep. While getting attacked by the opposing force of course.

@WildRnk The combat is a lot of World of Warcraft. You target a creature or player and auto-attack it. Then you have skills and special abilities you can use while in combat. There are the typical archetype classes including the tank, melee DPS, ranged DPS, debuffers and buffers. The Captain class in the game is a jack-of-all-trades class like a Paladin. Good in combat and buffs and heals.

well the major reason there are so amny wow players is because 1 they pay a subscription so once they start they think "i gotta get my moneys worth" and the fact that most blizzard games such as diablo and warcaft 3 had such a strong following so they advertized the ame on the server banner ads which drew ots of ppl to the game and finally a ton of everquest fans felt at home with wow because of the strong similarity to everquest

there is a monthly fee but you can go and get a came card at best buy. I think the typical price is $15 a month. But every once in awhile they run a special that is $10 a month.

Lord of the Rings online features a very good community. Everyone is helpful and there are some very good Kins (guilds) out there.

The game itself features PvE and PvP options. There is also instances and end game raids to take part in. Like other MMO's there a range of characters to play.

The current level cap is level 60 - if you have the Moria expansion pack. This also adds wo extra classes to the game.

There's a free trial that players can take part in. Best MMO I think :)
