  • 9 dislikes...fail on all levels...this music is LEGENDARY!!!!!

  • i walked on that very beach .. it was epic!

  • Terrible video. Great song.

  • They sound like 80's Rush. Great.

  • Chances are quite probable, that many of the infortunate souls in the twin towers most likely watched videos like these as well...The point?....Cherish everyday as if it may be your last; LIFE IS VERY SHORT INDEED.....i THINK WE ALL CAN TAKE A PAGE OUT OF THE BOOK OF COMPASSION, AND LIVE PART OF OUR LIVES, IN A JOYFUL WAY FOR THE ONE'S WHOM DIED ON 911.....THEY NO LONGER HAVE A CHOICE TO SHOW THE TRUE GOODNESS WITHIN THEMSELVES.....FOOD FOR THOUGHT...

  • aaaaaaaa the ferry and sandbanks lol the county represent

  • @McBeth8186 long live the beauty of Prince Edward County (Ontario) and Sandbanks provincial park

  • soooo miami vice

  • @kinmanyuen there fist song off this album was in Miami Vice!

  • @kinmanyuen funny you mention that because in one episode called"One-eyed Jack" an awesome song comes on when Crockett is going to a beach club to meet a slick Italian mobster named De Marco, a cool song was playing. I never found out which band sung it until a couple of years ago. Turns out they are called Honeymoon Suite and the song " New Girl Now".That's pretty cool that a Canadian rock band would get recognition on the coolest show of the 1980's.

  • @sakusia

now you mention... i do recall a beachscene with this track

  • Waves at Patty A! Nice bikini!

  • 1:48 has the "Looks That Kill" ;)

  • my bands better.. 80s are back

  • what car?

  • Comment removed

  • Greatest Canadian summer song ever!!!

  • I love this song, got to be my favorite Honeymoon Suite song (New Girl Now is a close second). "I came here cause I like the water sports" just makes me wanna go to California (or wherever they are).

  • @kanemura93 Haha there at a Provincial Park in Ontario... true story... I'm going there tomorrow :D

  • @emmadilemmasings Lucky bastard :(

  • That dog is so cute, probobly not with us now.. poor baby.. poor wave baby, this video was filmed in Toronto in June 1984.. 27 years ago wow

  • @weirdscience85 makes me feel REALLY old ;)

  • Research At Beach Resorts ...maybe we just need some perspiration 'cause we're frostbitten Canadian boys... we just might get crazed

  • This is a great ( and I do mean great ) summer time song.

  • faved it just cause its summer time again.....

  • 1:48 to 1:57,,,,That's nice !! That's really nice !!

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • WAVE....BABIES.....from Canada. None better!....

  • can't wait til these bikinis come back in style!

  • @sodabazz They never went out of style.

  • That's hot at 4:14

  • Man, must've been rough video shoot for these guys =)

  • One of the Canadian bands that defined my early 20's. I'''m from PEI and i remember seeing "Suite in Fredericton in 1985 at the Aitken Center. How big were they that year? Nazareth opened for them! Ahhh to be 20 again!

  • I blast this shit when I drive through Sandbanks provincial park. All the windows down, 35 degrees, and hot babes. Yeah that's right, I'm 17.

  • i remember being parked close to that spot waiting for the ferry to picton...it was my first date with my now wife michele......that was back in 1973..her first ride on my bsa royal star 500 motorcycle....i was in love with her and she was mine....she had a boyfriend at the time but he lost lol

  • My favorite 1980's band! Saw them here in Kingston (Ontario) this summer. They were better than ever! Cool video! Recorded in Prince Edward County and at Sand Banks Provincial Park.

The 80's and Canadian bands...the best of times!

  • I always liked the synthesizer on this song. It really captured a moment in time in the 80's...

  • After the 80s we were poisoned with chemicals and anger. Things are so different now. I wish I could go back and have another try at it. I am so unchanged personally. I am the same mentally and better physically but I am lost in this time. The modern establishment have won with almost all of my generation. Love all those 70s and 80s kids. Was one cool generation!!!

  • @vanillaexplosion99 You are absolutely right. I see anger all around me even im feeling intense rage ready to lash out at everyone and everything, however something holds me back, i don't know what fear or hope. Have you often wondered what those chem trails left in the sky do to us? Anyways im getting off topic but things are fucked up and thank god for these memories, songs like these that take us back to a more innocent era.

  • @sakusia I read both of your comments (vanilla explosion too), and I couldnt of said it any better. It's nice to know there are others out there that cherish the eighties...I am always lost there because it was a better and happier place.

I am always watching these videos and listening to 80s....I am always happy because in my own mind Im still there.

  • @vanity684 thanks nice of you to comment. I don't know if i cherish the 80s or not but for my family and I they were the best years of my life. The truth they were the only years i grew up with and i have fond memories of those times, even though i was very young( less than 10).On the one hand the 80's were great upfront( good music, movies, television and all around fun) but is it possible that behind the scenes certain forces were plotting for the misery that lay ahead?

  • The woman at 1:48 = DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!!!! Wow!! :)

  • @MeanGene79 hey your comment on wave babies ... is this you? lol

  • @itsallgoodtoo No. I'm a guy.

  • Occasionally I'll see Johnny Dee at an Amphitheatre concert. The guy looks like he hasn't aged.

  • probably one of the best from the 80s,love the "ladies of the 80s" these were my best times of my life!!

  • fuckin eh

  • what the song a 0:17 :d

  • @ExIITV "New Girl Now", also by Honeymoon Suite.

  • @MeanGene79 ikr beend a week ago i found it

  • Suite!

  • I love this song, so many good memories go with listening to it...

  • Say what you will about the hair , the music, the vids. 80's were a turning point in culture good or bad and you can't take that away from us old farts. Whats that Hopper line. ' the 80's are going to make the 60's look like the 50's."

  • @Solocoupe The last good decade.

  • Saw these guys on Friday. Still awesome!

  • I keep thinking that this is a song by Gowan, but this obviously not! XD

  • Apparently --I heard this from one of the poor girls in the video -- that it was April when they filmed this and that water was ice cold. At one place you can see goosebumps on the of the girls so it must have been bad.

  • The line,, "Track pants slowly slips down their legs" is what I thought was, " track dance" which is a term for junkies shooting up drugs and leaving lines from needle marks. Track pants lol, like running pants. Wow.. You see, back in the 80's if you didn't get lyrics you rewind over and over in your car cruising down the road until you got it, or at least you thought.

  • big hoop earrings a 3;37 Rebecca, a sweet heart now and then...what a smile

  • The dog's got the right idea;

Play it cool an sniff 'em out.

  • i always loved this song! reminds me of grade 7 back then :)

  • 80's................the best !

  • Totally Cool!

  • Most pretty girl is at 1:49.Other girls are boring.

  • Thanks Adam1984pl that's my little sister and yes she is still beautiful!

  • almost wishing i was born in the 80's now. why ALL the awesome music gotta be from there. we need this stuff now still!

  • God how much I wish I was born in the 80's... Looked like so much damn fun

  • @Emmie1962 Man you didnt wanna be born in the 80s, You wanted to live the 80s. That decade will never be able to be duplicated. The music, the cars, and GOD the women. Class of 84. The time went by way too fast, would go back this instant.

  • SANDBANKS!!!

  • I agree - the 80s were incredibly fun times !!

  • this video is horrible

  • I remeber we had to reschedule aour vacation by a few days, because some "Rock" band was recording a video there. We were going to Salmon Point campground, the lighthouse on the campgrund, and the rocks they stand on are right beside the road of the campsites, you can only play for a short timeo n them then the tide comes in. Best vacation ever.

  • I could tell sooo many funny stories about these guys ran into them in clearwater Florida at a bar "Club 19" show for this album turned out they went to high school with my sisters in Toronto and so we hung out for a couple days took their tour bus to the beach and played baseball in the parking lot, Great guys all the way and a great album too =]

  • WOOO! :)

  • 2:21 best reaction ever?

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO....takes me back everytime I watch it.

  • The Pinery Provincial Park - Grand Bend, Ontario - ahhh the memories!!

  • Some 80s beauties in this, very feminine and girl next door types, yes the 80s were REAL FUN...

  • Only if the guys noticed you harry7able ...

  • Radical

  • Back on the farm we had the same trike and helmet as the babe at 1:25 is using. I put thousands of miles on that old thing, riding with friends in the bush in the lease country north of our house.

These videos bring back memories you don't even expect to think of when you start to watch them.

I love 80's music sooooo much!

  • Is that the Ferry to Picton?

  • LOL,,, my mom never let me watch this video when I was 9 or 10.

  • hahahaha... 80's parents eh

  • Yeah, they shot this in my hometown. I was on the ferry the day they were shooting this.

  • I'd forgotten the one piece swimsuits.

  • ahaha, the beginning scene is at the Glenora Ferry!! I used to live there :D. Too bad I wasn't alive back then, but it would've been awesome! Didn't know famous people knew about Hay Bay, Napanee ... lol.

But that's BULL crap! The captian does not escort you on. (Too bad he didn't do that irl ^^ It'd make me feel special, lol)

  • I would also like to add that this tune has the greatest Keytair solo I have ever heard.

  • I swear the last one to come out of the change tents at 2:03 is a damn dude!

  • Funny thing, I USED to listen to my 80's band I was in with doors wide open and loud. Hoping to pick up chicks like we were the shit, kind of were in the day...

  • @buminbeer2

    i am 40 and I love METAL & BABES

Love the synth solo in this song! Incredible.

  • this is so kool! my acting coach was in this :)

  • I never knew they had a video for this song. The 80s rocked

  • brings back great memories !!!

  • the 80s were the best decade for music.

met these guys . they lived for a summer in my neighbourhood when they were recording these hits. So nostaligic for the 80s.!

  • These guys Rock! They are cruisin, playing their cassette, lookin for chix! HAHA! Good Tune.

  • glad they didn't cut out derry's guitar work at the end. the autotune stuff on the radio all sounds the same to me. it's not all bad, but it's not like in the 80s, when musicians other than the vocalists were given some time in the spotlight.

  • ahaha my dad is in this video hes the cop that asks "goin to the beach boys?" and hes the hot dog sales person lol he went on tour with them he did all their merch he said it was amazing

  • Are u sure he played a cop?!?!? I loved him in the third rock from the sun

  • hah yup i was supprised to lol i he randomly was like did you know i was in a music video lol

  • nice music hot 80's babes cool!

  • The 80's what a blast

  • Great song and another great canadian band.

  • Incidentally, this video was apparently filmed in MARCH, which would explain why all the ladies had goosebumps!

  • I miss the shoes! Of course, they could have been the source of my foot pain now...

  • you know I'm getting tired of this BULLSHIT about copyright claims. I want to see -Love changes everything- by these guys. love the song n video but I can't cuz of this Copyright claim. thats BULLSHIT or not.

  • that's it so true,,,so agree with you,,,thanksssssssssssss

  • this song reminds me of summer

  • it's true, most of their songs remind me of summer. That and the Boys of Summer by Don Hendley. :)

  • I miss the eighties, the music, style and the look of the girls without tattoos and piercings was way better-and the cut of the bathing suits was better as well.

  • like totally yes!!

  • you have style and taste, a rare find nowadays...

  • the best part in the song is the synthesizer solo between 2.59- 3.29. Absolutely brilliant!!! These song reminds me of beaches, bitches and ice cream!!

  • I saw these guys a while ago in Vancouver. They WOULD have sounded very good if it were not for the retarded sound man who had the bass guitar WAY too loud. It was killing all the great guitar playing. When i told the guy he did not know what he was doing he flipped out at me. Fucking idiot!!! hire a new sound man guys.

  • 1:26 and 3:36!! Yummy ladies!! Love this song. Takes me back to May 24's at Wasaga Beach back in the 80's. Playing football and frisbee on the beach without a care in the world. I miss those days.

  • yeah canadian women are hot!!! i miss them!!

  • I heard Ray Coburn (keyboards) is back with the band...i hope so, 'cause he's a kickass boards man...the sound just wasn't the same after he left!

  • Not too far from where I live, beautiful in the summer !

  • I used to camp at the Sandbanks Beach Resort before it became a day park. I miss those sandbanks.

  • I used to crank this song in my '82 VW Scirocco on my way to high school. Damn, I'm old.

  • Honeymoon Suite is still around, but nowhere near what they were for their first two albums. This video will always be my favorite to view.

  • One of my all-time HMS favorite songs...yeah, loverboy made it, unbelievably, yet HMS went hardly noticed...a crime, imo

  • what do you mean? HMS was pretty big as well. they even recorded the title track to the movie Lethal Weapon

  • really? what song and which Lethal Weapon?

  • Oh I love that car! What kind of car is that in the beginning?

  • I luv this song!

However,I could never understand why Loverboy made it big in the U.S,but Honeymoon Suite didn't....

Great tune, a classic of the 80's.:)

  • I always wondered who that bodybuilder girl was. Anyone know her name?

  • How GOOD were the good old days eh? Hard to believe all those gorgeous girls must be well into their 40s now.

  • Q107 Toronto Homegrown Album winners Honeymoon Suite from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Trivia: What year did Honeymoon Suite win the Q107 contest?

  • 1986

  • 1983?

  • Doesn't some of the video footage remind you of Tears for Fears " Shout"? especially near the end. Why do Brits and Americans get all the recognition, overshadowing Canadian accomplishments.

  • this is the best canadian song after Brian Adams'" Run to You", love the synthesizers and guitars. Very underrated group these guys were. Sweden's " Ace of Base" has a lot of awful sappy songs and no distinct sound yet they are world famous.

  • " headin to the beeech boys, awright lets gooooo!!" what a canadian accent lol, with the dog growling.

  • i was goona say what a rip off of david lee roth just like paradise song...but then i seen that this was made in 84 when he was still with halen....so i guess roth ripped this video off kinda lol

I remember her talking about the experience, but she didn't cut the mustard, to bad, long time ago.....

  • very nice song, perfect for the beach or driving to the beach with this in the background.

  • I wish I could ahve met some women like that back in the 80's! And I wish some women today looked like that still today!

  • Honeymoon Suite and Canada Day.....we got some Pickering peeps representing here..... nice
