  • Lol, this is the first song I ever learned on the guitar. My Mom taught it to me.

  • Calvary Riverside here, before it was Harvest of course. Also Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead at the Conference center.

  • i miss those days..

  • I remember going up to Calvary when I was in SanDiego, A bunch of us would pile in a shipmate's VW bus and head up on friday afet work, barely made it back in time for 0730 muster on Monday morning. Miss those times. Found out today that my Children's pastor at church was there at the same time. Memories!

  • Love t his song!

  • Wow! Chuck and Phil were the first 2 Christian artists I ever heard (which, I guess, dates me) in the mid-70s when I got saved. Randy is a blast. This REALLY is an awesome blessing - thanks for putting it online, whoever did that!

  • I have "Two Hands" and "The Wind was low" on an album by Gabriel, when Gabriel played at a coffeehouse in a church in Houston. Gabriel was from Louisiana. Dennis Smith, Mark Wortham, Mike Clark, Murray Clark, and Candy Cole were in Gabriel

  • Actually, I was in a band named Maranatha in Houston, and knew several people who went to and from Calvary, a couple guys in my band went to live in CA for a while too... possible I either met you guys or someone who played that song who knew or heard you.... else you guys visited Houston and I heard you sing it there?

  • I know this song ... I was living in Houston, Texas in the 1970s, but I heard it.... love it

  • I heard Love Song perform this under the big tent in Costa Mesa in about '72. Loved this band! I had just gotten saved after hitchhiking from southern Iowa to CA in the Winter of '71 - '72. Awesome Spirit!

  • I was living in Kansas City in the early 70's and heard about a Christian rock band that was coming to town. We loaded up my old Buick and saw them at the old municipal auditorium and they brought the place down! I had never seen a band that combined the music I loved with the faith I loved! It's good to hear they are touring again...I hope to see them!

  • Oh the memories!

    Suddenly I feel very old.

    One day closer to home!

  • Greetings from Mountain View Calvary Chapel in Pueblo, CO! I'm fortunate enough to be part of the second generation of Calvary Chapel...

Thank you, Lord, and thank you Chuck for being faithful to God's calling

  • This has to be much later than 1970. The album came out in about 1973. Look at the equipment (plugged in acoustic guitars), the fashion (baseball caps) and hair, and that all tells you it's later, probably 80s or even 90s. Great song, good memories.

  • This is the music that led me to the Lord when I was 12 or 13 years old. I went to the tent to hear the music, not to get saved. Next thing I know Im getting dipped in the pacific by Chuck Smith. Im fixing to turn 52 now and Jesus is still rockin me. Thanks Brothers!

  • Takes me back...

  • I preceded the tent. I was there when it was a "little country church on the edge of town." This was recorded probably around 1970.

  • Love this song. can you belive i found a lovesong album in a thrift store in northern california? my mom and uncle were original tent goers. they introduced me to the maranatha and music during the jesus people movement and this was my favorite song!

  • what year did this guys record this?

  • Great memories!

  • Wow! I haven't heard this song since 1971 when Calvary Chappel was still a tent. Thanks!

  • I love Chuck!

  • great song. life changing.

  • Dooten dooten doo! That's the way we sang it in choir practice!
