Thats why it makes vehicles go faster (racing trucks and dragway motorbikes use it too).

It gets injected into the engine, and because it burns allot hotter and faster than petrol, makes the pistons in the engine move faster up and down, thus making the car go faster.

@CarbonEternity Look princess. the actual tank in the video belongs to me, I have raced my cars on Nitrous for about 4 years.... Please learn the chemistry before you insult me or make "smart" comments. If Nitrous itself was flamable then why would I need to mix nitrous with fuel to begin with? and why would i need to run 110 octane for safe nitrous use??? it does NOT make pistons go faster, it only allows a huge amount of 0 gas to power the fuel that is already there. so please do the research.

@CarbonEternity NO2 a compound gas which mostly consisted of NITROGEN , NITROGEN is NOT flammable , we breathe Nitrogen and small ammouts of NO2 mixed with oxygen so the earths atmostphere is like 70% nitrogen give or take a few and 1 percent mixed gases 29 percent oxygen
