I don't buy the whole "artistic growth" shit...Every bands starts off with what they consider is their best they can ever come with and most agree which is why they become popular...That's why no straight to radio band is never good because it's already watered down to appeal to the stupid masses..Then they just keep watering it down while coming to the realization they either have to keep making music until they're old or just quit..we call that selling out

All art is all about dynamic, contrast, evolution and change. Slayer and AC/DC really are the only exceptions to what I'm talking about. And we love them for it. If you only like one album, one era, one what-the-fuck-ever of a certain band, then how about trying this....... ONLY LISTEN TO THAT ONE ALBUM, ERA, OR WHAT-THE-FUCK-EVER. Most "fans" don't realize how absolutely boring and unsatisfying it would actually be for artists/musicians to keep making the same albums, over and over. @tectonik177 I disagree. I'm not a fanatic of Manson and I love everything he has put out. I enjoy Eat Me, Drink Me and the High End of Low because I think they're both amazing albums. All of Manson's other albums are great. Doesn't make me a fanatic.

Marilyn Manson has absolutely no reason whatsoever to go back to making music like he used. What the hell would he say?

Have you actually looked up the meanings behind what he's saying?

Here, I'll point you in the right direction....

Go to The Nachtkabarett, and read up on what he's saying in each and every last one of his albums. Compare them.

His newer works are just as, if not more than, meaningful as Antichrist Superstar. You just choose not to see it.

If you can't relate, then there's nothing anyone can do about that. And I doubt that anyone would hold that against you.
