the drum sounds way too overbearing. i love this opera, however, and have never seen it staged. i wish they had used period costumes. i wish the met would do a french baroque opera.
I saw this opera at Brooklyn Academy of Music. The trailer is a nice overview of the scenes but the music in the trailer isn't strong. There are better moments of music in the score.
