How do Iowa and Michigan State have similar programs? Michigan State plays decent defense with a primarily spread passing attack. Iowa plays stout defense with a pro style offense. If you follow recruiting you'll know they don't typically target the same players.... I guess they play close games. I don't know if that's enough to call them similar programs.

I've never been cussed at like I was as this game ended. I have no hard feelings towards the MSU fans though: it wasn't having your heart ripped out, it was having it blasted out with a canon.

@keosahawk yeah dont take it personally. michigan state fans respect iowa fans, and i think iowa fans respect michigan state fans. we are both very similar schools. its actually kind of insane how similar we are.

@keosahawk well when i say similar i mean similar in the way we play the game of football, similar in the way we recruit. and just similar overall. And i could talk about the Ann Arbor collapse all day. Those bastards are finally getting what they had coming. I am normally a very classy guy, but it is very difficult to show any respect for Michigan or their fans. Michigan losing gives me the same thrill or MSU winning. It's a double bonus now-a-days.

Just keep telling yourself that MSU012, There are bad calls in every, To say this cost you the game....is kind of a crutch. Both teams drove the ball down the field in the last 3 minutes of the game, maybe that had more to do with who won....than any refs call.

why do you say that? It was clearly holding on that interception play if that's what your talking about. Michigan State is a great team they just couldn't get it done, they choked in the end and Iowa clutched, but maybe next year but I doubt it since it's in Kinnick.
