Ok at what point in the conversation did I say I was non-human? We may not be your definition of "vampire" but then if you consider the fact that neither is clinical vampirism, a recognised mental disorder believed to be related to skitzophrenia. My point is the word vampire has a different definition now, it evolved. Just as any other word in common use changes meaning over time. Anyway this is leading away from my previous comment, it's rather unfair to insult somone for their problems just because you have difficulty with believing them.

Ok at what point in the conversation did I say I was non-human? Physically im just the same as you, im not immortal, burned by sunlight etc. It is usually agreed that our problems stem from Prana and the fact that we burn through it faster than we can produce it or whatever. It's true some of us feel seperate from humanity, but that is far more due to the changes to our lifestyle that occur during awakening and the feelings of alienation that can go along with it.

There is no such thing as a "real vampire". There are just people who want to believe they are one, caused by the fact that they're being outcasted, for whatever the reason, from what we usually define as "normal" society, and these people feel more "powerful", more in control, if you will, to talk themselves into "Oh, look, I'm a VAMPIRE!", as well as brainwash their close friends and family into believing that, as well. Being a real vampire is impossible, scientifically, for different reasons.

Auric energy meaning the energy that radiates off of a person. You've heard of people being able to see auras, right? They feed off of them. Being a psychic vampire (one who feeds off of the energy people produce) does not give you psychic powers. It's similar to energy working.

Vampirebats are properly termed "Vampires", but are they eternal..? No.
However, real life Vampires can and do live for an exceedinly long time. But they do not "Shrivel in the Sun", although most find the Sun uncomfortable. Not even the Vampire of legend "shrivel". It is a moviemyth, with only some truth.

Very nice production, with the visuals as compliment to the sound.
Don has always mentioned how his ideas are rather radical and controversial (even within the Vampire subculture) so he has chosen to keep them to himself. I always though he should share it and perhaps write a book. Afterall, where would the whole thing be without controversy? Seems he has chosen to speak a bit more again as of late.
