Personally, I feel like em's "Stan" is on another level than this "dear Anne" song. Eminem's Stan sounded like it was coming from straight raw emotions, and really wasn't intentionally trying to rhyme at all; just trying to articulate a letter to a fan. Lil' Wayne's "Dear Anne" sounded..for lack of a better phrase "dumb down." It doesn't sound real (to me at least) It's hard for me to look at Wayne as "real" rapper. people say he's the greatest based off of exposure, not lyrical content.
