I saw her back in 2007 with the mormon tabernacle choir and boy this lady still hits the nail! She's got a wonderful voice and sings with a deep feeling for what she is saying. By the way, she lyp synch on this concert but it is still her voice! (Where's the band?!?!?!)

Why would anyone say such cruel things about someone. What if Sandi Patty got on this site and read those things? What if someone said those things about your mom or your sister? Sandi Patty is someone's mom...someone's daughter...someone's wife...and a child of God--just like you. (and by the way--all artist lip sync at parades--you have to because of the acoustics!)

You should be ashamed. #1.All artist in this parade lip synch. #2.Sandi is having a great year and has seen quiet the resurgence in her popularity as a result, hence the invitation to perform in the parade. Her voice has never sounded better. I can only hope that you find the maturity one day to realize how ridiculous and childish your comments were, and remember, what goes around, comes around so watch out! By the way, the correct spelling of her name is Sandi PATTY.

It is not worth to try to respond to these comments. Like someone else said, everybody lip synchs during these events, and like someone else said, her career has had re-emerged in the past few years. I saw her in the spring in a concert with a symphony orchestra here in the Dallas area, and man, she's still got it!

She knows she's fat. She talks about it in her concerts. She wrote about it in her autobiography. So I'm sure she doesn't need anyone else to point it out. The fact that she's touring the country, performing, and still recording, not to mention that her voice is still amazing (and if you don't believe me, go see her in concert instead of making a general assumption), would indicate that no, her career is not over.
