  • i keep argueing with some off my mates about this. they say yea its powerful but thats it. i agree its powerful but they dont understand that besides that it can do 1 round per second and aswell go through APC they just see it as a tool i see it as something that can be evolved into something better. with our tech today we could make it better or something else.

  • Yet I get fucking hit markers.

  • The 5.56 NATO is the standard cartridge for most US rifles (not the .223 Remington, and there IS a difference), and the .308 is NOT the cartridge of the AK47. The 7.62x39 or the 5.45x39 are the standard AK cartridges. The 7.62mm bullet is roughly .308" though, but that's an odd/incorrect way of referring to a cartridge. I'm surprised an ex-SEAL would refer to it like that. After all it is a TV show, and I bet all the Call of Duty commandos don't know the difference anyway.

  • damn thats better than my airsoft gun

  • 2700 FPS is impressive when you take into account the differences between the Grain. .223 55 grain or 65grain. .50 Grain is around 550-600 grain.

  • @R0B0H0G I said that so the COD freaks could know

  • call of duty is coming to life

  • LOL he says 2700 fps like it is something amazing, but the 223 travels at about 3200 fps

  • @semeponedura it is pretty amazing considering the 50 cal round is a shit ton larger than the little .223

  • @semeponedura 3240 for a 55gr hornady v-max hehehe

  • well others have pointed out the obvious...however ill add my 2 cents....the AK-47 round (7.62x39mm) is roughly equivalent to a 30-30 Winchester. VASTLY different ballistic tables and vastly different performance, the extra powder in the .308 Winchester (7.62x51 NATO) makes it a completely different round altogether. this guy is a retard and i will never watch this show. if youre going to educate people do it right...

  • @92XJlaredo i keep watching the video hoping he meant something else, maybe caliber instead of cartridge, cause 223rem and 5.56nato are different but both use a .223in dia projectile and are verry similar cartriges most don't cant see a differnce, then again the 7.62x39 uses a .310 or .311 dia projectile and not a .308.... loadbooks will argue this point but ya, i expected better from the guy...

  • The anzio is not the best, its too bulky to be an actual field operating gun.

  • the best sniper in the world is anzio 20mm look it up

  • the anzio is way bigger...

  • I have the same shirt as the guy shooting haha:D

  • The Anzio is a more powerful sniper... Just saying...

  • The Barret and all .50 BMG's are tactical weapons systems. They do not fire just one bullet they have multiple rounds that can be fired from them. They have a lot of weight that goes with them. They are not highly mobile but moveable. You strategically set these guys up somewhere and they are like snakes they strike when they are needed. True snipers sneak in complete and sneak out and they leave the enemy scratching their heads. The 50 comes in and they are out of the game. Counter snipers.

  • The 20mm rifles, like the Anzio are the most powerfull sniper rifles.

  • The most powerful rifle in the world was the .950 JDJ 25 pound sniper rifle, made to kill T-Rexs. Then the 20 MM sniper rifle came to light, making it the most powerful long range weapon in the world.

  • @DasFlugenwrecker2 yes. we definitely had guns when t-rex's were around

  • technically the m107 is an anti matter rifle not a sniper

  • maybe less than 5

  • i shot faster than that with my 22, 10 rounds 5 sec

  • most i seen us guns are 5.56

  • Huh I got a WW2 50 cal bullet then awsome

  • The .30.30, .30.06, .308, 7.62x54R, are all .308-7.62 Dia., the AK is almost like the .30.30 round not a whole lot of difference.

  • There is NO argument here. Calling an AK round .308 is absolutely inaccurate, and an embarrassment. If he had said thirty caliber, that would be fine. Bottom line, if you purchase .308 cartridges and try to jam em in an AK, you're gonna have problems.

  • They're probably using it to kill innocent civilians

  • The guy is an ex NAVY SEAL and cant make the difference between 308 and 7.62 x 39 ?

  • Pretty sure I can bolt a round in under 15 seconds, just sayin.

  • JDJ .950

  • a more powerful rifle is the 20 mm

  • @DarkLightningDragon ya but its only good for shooting tanks or making cows explode lol

  • @moistfaucet It's not heavy man. Easy to carry around. If you can't pick up 30 pounds then you shouldn't be in the military in the first pose!

  • it is true the most powerful Rifle in the world, but also the most unconvenient Rifle in the World. So Big and Heavy how do you run ? I would love to have that rifle as size as my penis so i can store in my pocket. LOL....

  • The most powerful... no way people!

South Africa NTW-20 and Croatia rt-20 make a 20mm. Produced in the 1990's already

  • L115a3 with its smaller round still holds the worlds longest Kill...Umad USA?

  • @hellrazor117 this can blow through walls and kill anyone inside a room, the british have some sweet guns, but this wasn't built to land long range shots.

  • @hellrazor117 smaller rounds can be fired more accurately.

  • reduce the barrel length

    remove the scope

give every man in a squad 1

clame that you are not there for the oil.

  • @501isa so just bring in non scoped m82a1 cq's in the middle east ?

  • Yea, well there is a 20mm sniper rifle.... look it up on you tube.

  • the M4 is designed to fire both 5.56 and the 223 rem if its a true M4 and not a cheap ass civi knock of like a bushmaster then it will fire both

  • "This is a 223 round. It is the standard round for most US military rifles. This is a 308, it is the standard round for the ak-47. This is the 50 caliber" *DROP* WIB WIB WIB WUB WUB WUB WUB

  • The Most Powerful Is The .950 JDJ Costs 50$ a Round Weighs 50/110/110 Pounds they've made only 3...

  • @CAepicreviews No the L115A3 is a British made sniper rifle which has already broken the record for the longest range kill.

  • @braddy000 witch has nothing to do with power

  • @13thmistral Of course it does if the sniper had no power it would not of even been fired.Do you think a BB gun could of got the worlds record for the longest bullet? No. You're probably just a kid that plays too much Call Of Duty.

  • @braddy000 kid, having such a record...

ok maybe it tells something, but not much

for an example, .500s&w has more power then, lets say a 5.56x45mm nato round

but the last one has still more range

i hope youre realy not in the asumption the l115a3 is the most powerfull snîper rifle in the world, because it simply isnt

also, it is not the longest bullet, wtf is that for dipshit ?

i realy hope i just misunderstand all the stuff you just said because none of it makes sence

  • @braddy000 also, the efective range of the l115a3 is still 1500m, not 2500m or something like that

  • @13thmistral Omg you fucking child...The L115A3 has the record for the longest confirmed sniper kill...Research it you moron.

  • @braddy000 i know that since a pretty long time

but it still is not the most powerful rifle and it still doesnt has to do with having the most power

velocity and energy are linked with eachother, but arte not the same

also there are more factors then those 2 when talking about sniping btw

are you a troll or just to dumb to get that ?

  • @braddy000 and it is not the longest bullet, wtf is that for shit ?

  • @braddy000 if you want more info, please replie

  • @CAepicreviews that gun is not a sniper rifle, more a hunting rifle

    and even more impractical colectorsitemshit

  • wow i didnt know the ak shoots .308 i have one and im pretty sure it says 7.62x39

i think u have it confused with the 7.62x51 nato which is .308

  • @livefreeordie42017 No don't tell them that, let them buy a bunch of 308 for their AK XD

  • @livefreeordie42017 The .308 is a piece of shit! ...I bet the 7,62x39 is even worse! :/

  • @livefreeordie42017 IT needs a upgraded receiver to take .308's other than that i wouldnt reccomend putting a .308 inside it

your right the 7.62 is the only thing you should put in it

until you get an upgraded receiver

And if you go that far you mise-well get a fully automatic upgrade too.

  • @livefreeordie42017 they do have AKs that fire .308 but I agree with you, the .308 is usually used to refer to the 7.62x51mm altho both being a 7.62mm they are technically both .308

    7.62mm =.308 inch

  • @livefreeordie42017 I think he called it .308 cuz its a .308 cal bullet aka the bullet diameter in a 7.62x39 round is 0.308

  • @livefreeordie42017

He may be talking about Modern Day advance version of the AK

  • @MoNKeySpaNk1989 no they're .223

  • @livefreeordie42017 retard! .308= 0.308 inches=7,62 mm. so both the 7.62x39 and the 7.62x51 are .308s

  • @tacaninho yeah we know they're both .30 cals captain oblivious but only the 7.62x51 NATO is also called .308 because of the Winchester 308 which is the "sportive version" of the 7.62 NATO" . 7.62x39 is 7.62x39 thats it

  • @tacaninho He didn't say that the AK fired a .308 caliber bullet. He said that it fired a .308 round, which is incorrect.

  • @AngryPrawn 308 and 7.62 is the same caliber, just the AK uses a 39mm case not a 51mm case!!

  • @valiant2050 You're missing my point. I'm referring to .308 as a cartridge, not a bullet. 7.62 x 51mm is also commonly known as the .308 (commercial variant). 7.62 x 39 is not. If you say .308, 99.99% of people will think you're referring to the .308 Winchester.

You don't refer to a cartridge based solely on the caliber of the bullet. If he had said, "this is a .30 caliber bullet" it would've been fine. He didn't. He said, "this is THE .308".

  • @AngryPrawn dude 7.62 NATO is not a .308, that's a 7.62x39

  • @AngryPrawn glad you pointed that out

  • @AngryPrawn mac should know better

  • chek out the anzio lawl

  • @Erecson1523 witch one ?

    anzio even makes a .50bmg

  • its a big round....

  • If he would have compared only the projectiles without the casing, no one would be arguing about this.

  • Snipers are cowards!

  • Now the question is. Can you quickscope with it?

  • @erig700 no. dont be a faggot

  • "you dont wanna be one of those when of these is flying around" thx for remembering it i tough this couldnt kill you -.-

  • I prefer the 14.5x114mm Russian round. NOW THAT WILL TAKE OUT A TANK!

  • @Mr556x45mm not the modern main battle tanks of today

probably not even the more modern heavy apc's

  • hey mac the 308 is not the standard ak47 round educate yourself

  • This guy has made many flubs. He's a former Navy Seal not a gun guy!

  • @boostimalaka1 Exactly ... If that's the average knowledge level of a US army soldier no wonder they're bad in afghan and iraq ...

  • @ogi415 so someone says something wrong on a t.v. show and now you talk crap about US Army soldiers who gave up their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tell me what exactly have you done?

  • @t8adams When that someone is supposed to be one of a army's best of the best that does speak bad of the army. And no, im not speaking bullshit of them. But getting shot at with something and not knowing what you're getting shot with is just stupid. In terms of "what i have done" if by that you mean by military, im too young to join.

  • it isnt the most powerful sniper anymore there is a .950 jdj

The energy on target (knock-down power) is comparable to WWI-era tank rounds.

each shot is 3600 grains and it weighs about 1lb per shot

  • @xMrjamjam shitkid, that is not a sniper rifle

  • @ChrisPenta dude just stop all you do is say stuff on YouTube because you want to make yourself feel smart well get this I'm 14 and know and shoot more about firearms than most adults I bet right after ur done on YouTube you go and play call of duty right well I don't cuz I don't have to play video games for entertainment I go out shoot my sks and AR-15 and I'm done

  • /watch?v=xohy9gWz7kk

i thought that was the strongest?!

  • i thought the ak 47 shot a 7.62...not a .308?? explain this to me anyone plz?

  • @GaNgStAr646 It is a 7.62, these guys are fags

  • @PHatxObesityxGaming ok good....

  • @GaNgStAr646

7.62 is the measurement in millimeters and .308 is in inches. 7.62mm = .308 inches

  • @TheJamesloy fps is not the only thing to be recognized by when finding a guns power. Weight and caliber are the high factors to a guns energy. Are you saying that a 3700 fps m4a1 is more powerful and accurate that the .50 m107? When he is saying that it takes 15-20 seconds to place a round into a bolt action, he is talking about manually loading each round into the open chamber without a magazine.

  • Way to blow off $50 ;)

  • he acts like 2700 fps is actually fast, yes for a 50. it is, but in comparison its not.

And 20 seconds to cycle a around in a bolt action? lol

  • Most powerful?! Russian PTRS-41 is a 14.5×114mm. The .50 is 12.7 x 99

  • @IMAFUCKINGBADASS size doesnt say annything about power

like .416 barrett being more powerful then most .50bmg cartridges at 2km

also, the ptrs-41 is an anti-tank rifle, not a true sniper rifle

  • Stupid redneck, 308 is 308 Winchester which is not AK47 round. Second of all, that fucking rifle can only be effective if you are sitting on top of a mountain and enemy is coming to you from flat desert land. It's so easy to spot where you shoot from with its loud blast.

  • sick fucker!!! all soldiers are brain dead and should all die!!!

  • @TheCameoafro l'm an ex Soldier, and let me assure you; we're not all baby killers, and wild animals. Many of us serve under the pretenses, that we're a part of something bigger and more important than ourselves. Please save your hate and distain for the real animals in the world. To be honest, l wanted to get nasty with you based on your words, but Soldiers fight and die for free speech, so you're entitled. Don't ever forget that we gave you that right

  • @TheCameoafro LMFAO!!!!!!!! AH HAH HAHAHAHAHAHAH YOUR SO FUNNY

  • A round like that could go through many women children and unarmed men but my bet would be on depleted uranium just cause they keep killing baby,s for generations ,now that is some killing!

  • "This is the .308, it is the standard round for the AK-47." -stopped watching there.

Also .223 and 5.56x45 are not identical. If the .223 was the standard round for most U.S. military rifles, surplus 5.56 would be much cheaper.

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM WTF??? 223 is not the round of the military, ak47 use 7.62x 39, 308 is 7.62x51 idk about you mac, but to me ive never been able to get a 7.61x 51 in an ak, try and see what happens (give you a hint BOOM), same thing w 223, try running 200 rds of 5.56 through a 223 barrel (hint; barrel riffling is striped), thought this guy was an ex seal.... double WTF????

  • @slopothacrop 7.62x39 is a 308cal, 7.62x51 is a 308cal, 30-06 is a 308cal. I'm sure he was just categorizing those three rounds based on caliber so people would have an idea of how much bigger the .50 is based on diameter. For us gun folks, a .308 is a .308win so i see why people got mislead.

  • @slopothacrop 5.56 and .223 are IDENTICAL. If you run standard NATO rounds that are higher pressure than most .223s, you may have some issues. Its like 9mm/9mm+P/9mm+P+

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM HAHAHA, man if they put a .308 in an AK that thing would FLY apart, hell the FAL and the SCAR have a hard time with that round, let alone an AK! HA. this video was full of bull shit, and at the end they don't even show the target for whatever the hell the guy was shooting at, I bet the guys pattern was as big as a friggin' ferris wheel. I used to think that this show was cool, but after I saw this, I started to look at it under a new light.

  • @SirDude456 They didn't show the target at the end because they were timing him, not talking about accuracy.

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM The 7.62mm bullet used for the AK is very similar to the .308.

  • @jimihendrixtribute the bullet yes... but not the ballistics,,, whatsoever.

  • @erik42355 yes, the ballistics are definately way different because of the variation of grain weights, length of bullet, etc.

  • @jimihendrixtribute

The only thing that is the same is the 7.62!! The round that the AK-47 uses is a 7.62X39. The round the is similar to the .308 wincherster is a 7.62 NATO or 7.62X51.

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM 223. is the civilian round

  • Comment removed

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM

The 7.62X39 round that the AK-47 uses is the same diameter as the 7.62 NATO round. 7.62 NATO is the same as a .308. AS with .223 and 5.56X45 there are some minor differances like head spaceing chamber pressure and stuff, But in the video he is correct that the AK-47 uses what is considered a .308 round, 7.62 millameters = .308 inches. He didn't say it was a .308 winchester, he said it was a .308 round.

  • @rmcurrie100 Actually, 7.62mm == .300 of an inch.. The Euro's standardize on the land diameter, not the grove diameter, of the barrel (the actual diameter of the bullet). .308 is actually 7.85mm.

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM Actually, if he said caliber, not round, he would have been technically correct. .308 / 7.62 use the same diameter of bullet, irrespective of the casing. The 5.56x45 and .223 (similar for the .308 vs mil variant) have slightly different tolerances, but are more or less interchangeable. For the sake of television, the comparison was .223 diameter (AR) < .308 (AK) < .50 BMG. It wasn't meant to be the gun bible.

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM who there used by does not mean anything there exactly the same round but i do believe the .223 has a higher PSI than 5.56

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM total agree i think they forgot the fact that my M4 said 5.56 NATO on it not .223

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM ALSO the .950 JDJ casing and all is only the length of an EMPTY .50 cal casing

  • @EAZYCOUCHESDOTCOM really you think they aren't identical? either your an epic troll or an uneducated fool. .223 is the domestic designation of 5.56x45 nato just as .308 WIN and 7.62x51 are the same. jeeez learn about what your going to comment on before you comment.

  • vono360 needs to get off his xbox and read or go outside. Your info is pathetically wrong.

  • The 50 cal. When "fuck you", just isn't getting the point across.

  • @thedudeyo101 Lol he says play a video game to prove it! Haha what a kid

  • @ChrisPenta I know a lot more than you think a 7.62x39 has the same diameter as a 7.62x51 but a 7.62x51/308. Is dovetailed for a more aerodynamic flight therefore is a different caliber

  • @DVGfilms Dovetailed? You mean boat tailed. A boat tailed bullet does NOT make it a different caliber. Both 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 can use boat tailed bullets. Caliber is a measurement of width of the projectile. 7.62x25, 7.62x39, 7.62x51 and many more all have the same caliber projectile, actually around .302 inches. .300 Blackout is another.

  • I never mentioned 7.62x54, did you mean 7.62x54r? 7.62x25? Lol!

  • Oh so you took a micrometer and measured one? No. When you do, you'll find I'm correct, thanks.

  • M71 is wayyyyyyyyy stronger

Play medal of honor for proof

  • Weak PTRS-41 all the way if you want to penetrate 40mm of tank armor at 100 yards.

  • @ruski1945 main battle tanks of today do better then 40mm steel plates as armour

also, its not a sniper rifle but an anti-tank rifle, it doesnt has a scope and it is completely unreliable

  • 308 is 7.82MM, 7.62 is ACTUALLY 7.92MM please read my post below.

  • @Outlaw777x That is incorrect. The 7.62MM round has a .311" projectile. The difference between a .308/.303/7.62 is the cartridge itself. They all use projectiles within the same tolerances. A caliber technically refers to the diameter of the bore from groove to groove. European calibers are from Land to Groove. The difference between 7.62x25/7.62x39/7.62x54 is the length of the cartridge. Actually, the 7.62x25 (Tokarev) uses ball ammunition instead. And 7.62/7.63/.303/.308 are all .30 cal rounds

  • Calm down Call of Duty warriors lol.

  • @chrispenta 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 are not the same "caliber" nor is 7.63x51 the same as .308.

  • @Outlaw777x They are the same caliber but two different rounds. They are both .30 Cal Rounds or 7.62mm, but the brass of the two rounds are different lengths, (39mm and 51mm)

  • 9 seconds

  • .308 isn't the standard AK round

  • The PTRS-41 is more powerful than the .50 cal.

    This guy's full of shit!

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j Who the hell uses a PTRS-41 except in video games. It was specifically used as an anti tank weapon, and a poor one at that.

  • @ChrisPenta

Doesn't change the fact that the PTRS-41 is a more powerful rifle and therefor this weapon is not the most powerful. An ugly retard with a bigger dick than you still has a bigger dick.

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j If you are quoting obscure dead calibers that nobody but COD fanboys and museum attendants give two shits about then yes, your ANTI-TANK weapon is more "powerful" But you know what is more powerful? The Finnish L-39. You know who cares? Nobody.

  • @ChrisPenta

The straight-out madfaggotry of your posts clearly show how stupid you are. And yes, I do play Cowadooty and learned about the PTRS from WaW, but that doesn't change the undenyable fact that the Barret .50 is not the most powerful sniper rifle in the world, nor am I a fanboy of the game. Stop sucking Berreta's and this TV guy's dicks.

Oh, and now I care about this L-39. It is probably useless outside of large game hunting and being awesome, but it's not noone anymore.

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j And the PTRS hasn't been fielded by a regular army since 1945, and was never used as a SNIPER RIFLE. It was strictly anti-materiel ONLY. The L-39 was actually used as a counter sniper rifle against hardened targets and bunkers. Shows how much research you have done. It is not used in "large game hunting". What does Beretta have to do with anything.

  • @ChrisPenta

A powerful scoped, long range anti-material rifle that surpasses any pussy .50 BMG rifle in terms of power, yes.

Of course it wasn't for large animals, you autismal twat! What? Did the ruskies send in rhinoceras teams to storm Finland or something? I meant that killing giant shit like elephants would be one of the few uses I would have for it.

And Berreta is the company that made this rifle. What the Hell?

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j You moron. Barrett! Not Berreta! You made the reference to big game! 50BMG has better terminal ballistics than 14.5×114mm, which looses all accuracy after about 800 yards! Just give it up man. It was never a long range weapon, and it never used a scope, the shock from shooting it would break a scope.

  • @ChrisPenta

Haha whoops! I thought it was Beretta.

Although I don't belive you about the scope. You can always make it stronger.

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j Not back then you couldn't. There was a reason people got away from cannons like that, the shock would actually cause detached retinas in the shooters eyes.

  • @ChrisPenta

See, now you are actually sounding intelligent.

    Good day to you.

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j I've been intelligent the whole time.

  • @ChrisPenta

    Don't kid yourself.

Your first reply to me was very childish and your argument was basically "HAHAHA U FAGET NBDY CARES ABOUT PTRS-41 THERFOR IT'S NOT THE MOST POWUHFUL! mmmphg mph mmm*".

*the sound of feliating TV guy and Barret

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j I stand by my argument. To call the PTRS a sniper rifle in any context is a gross inaccuracy. The .50 BMG is simply the most powerful cartridge ever fielded in the role of a sniper. PTRS never was fielded as an anti personnel weapon, never was mounted with a scope, and can't make an accurate hit on a human sized target past 500 yards. Those are the facts as I presented them.

  • @ChrisPenta

But initially you didn't present them well. You sounded like some pissed off autists trying to be cool by hating Cowadooty and using the "kid" argument.

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j And you presented your arguments like a college professor in your mind. Yeah, if call of duty had never been invented you wouldn't even know what a PTRS was.

  • @ChrisPenta

Nope. I presented my arguments in a crude, but reasonably intelligent way.

And yes, I probably would not have known about the PTRS if I never played World At War as I already said. What of it? Are you trying the "kid" argument again?

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j You argued in a childish and immature manner about something you know little or nothing about.

  • @ChrisPenta

    No, you did.

The most childish I went was my crude analogy of the retard + big dick, but that had a point, whereas you just assumed I was a CoD kiddy and used the "kid" argument the whole time.

Why are we arguing about this bullshit!?

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j Because :P

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j he knew his shit more then you, and you dont even relize that

you are a codkid, you never researched youre guns besides youtube vids and the games you play

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j intelligent ?

kid, almost everything you said was wrong

    kid

    or retard, whatever you are

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j people often get pissed off because of retarded people or kids posting crap

btw, you sound more like an autist here

playing games and getting youre infro from them, being so narsistic and not being able to admit he was the first one posting shit and making faults

you ask to be treathed like a retard when you post sertain crap people woudnt post if they just woud google shit

my god, even reading the wikipedia article woud be enough to make you 10 times...

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j ...more accurate on this subject

    its all about accuracy kid

  • @ChrisPentaits its not the most powerfull cartrige around, check out .950 jdj (20x102mm vulcan) sniper rifle

  • @slopothacrop Of course it isn't. But it is the most powerful round currently (or ever) fielded in the primary role of a sniper. .950 JDJ is more of a cannon round anyways. They have only made like a half dozen rifles chambered in it anyhow.

  • @ChrisPenta 20mm sniper rifles exist

i dont think those are often used against people though :)
