In Tortuga it doesn't point to him, even though the fact that she would think it does says a lot. And on the island it does actually point to the treasure, so... That being said I still say she should have chosen Jack, cause what those two shared was un-fucking-believable.

Saw the film again, if you watch the way Jack looks at her in the Bretheren Court scenes, in particular, you can see his real feelings in his eyes. Also when he says once was enough I make myself feel better by saying "You're a bad liar, Jack Sparrow" at the screen. Yes, I talk to the movie screen. >>>SAD<<< :)

Well, I can't deny the truth, but.... AWE is the ultimate proof that Jack loves her more than Will ever could. The things he does for her has touched my heart in so many ways, and the love she has for him is clearly still there. So, despite the very pathetic ending, I still say that Jack and Elizabeth are the right match...
then again, I will never be convinced otherwise unless they can truly show me what Will can offer her and that she is in love with him (in a believable way, I know they tried but they failed misserably).

Well, I actually think he's an amazingly bad actor when it comes to hiding his feelings for her... There's a great deal of conflicting emotions, and he does try to stay mad at her, but it's clear that it's not working... And the way he looks at her, the way he treats her... he's so in love.
In the second it's really obvious, but you can tell he's trying to hide his feelings in the third because Will's around. I'll try not to spoil it too much for other people, but there where times, or rather one time, when I was almost screaming at Jack because he was NOT DOING WHAT I WANTED HIM TO!!!!!!!!!! Haha! Well, I can't deny the truth, but.... AWE is the ultimate proof that Jack loves her more than Will ever could. The things he does for her has touched my heart in so many ways, and the love she has for him is clearly still there. So, despite the very pathetic ending, I still say that Jack and Elizabeth are the right match...

I so agree with you. In my opinion she should go off with Jak while Will is busy (I'm not saying with what, that would spoil the movie for people) Also (SPOILER WARNING!!!) The kid at the end has Jack's eyes........ Ha ha ha! He does, it's true! I think she went with Jack after the beach scene with Will. (SPOILER ENDS)

Oh, I have no doubt! Any woman who can find a man that loves her half as much as Jack loves Elizabeth is the luckiest woman alive... and with regards to the man she chooses in the end I already know, so there's no surprise for me on that front anymore.... Well, I actually think he's an amazingly bad actor when it comes to hiding his feelings for her... There's a great deal of conflicting emotions, and he does try to stay mad at her, but it's clear that it's not working... And the way he looks at her, the way he treats her... he's so in love.

In the second it's really obvious, but you can tell he's trying to hide his feelings in the third because Will's around. I'll try not to spoil it too much for other people, but there where times, or rather one time, when I was almost screaming at Jack because he was NOT DOING WHAT I WANTED HIM TO!!!!!!!!!! Haha! If you've seen it you'll know which part I mean...

Well, I agree that he is in fact trying to hide it, but the way he looks at her, and the way he treats her throughout AWE still show his feelings very clearly I think. Is he better at hiding them than in DCC? Absolutely!But the again, in DMC he wasn't really trying to hide much, but was actually flirting rather obviously. Naturally he can't do that in front of Will, but I still say his feelings are very clear, as is hers.

I guess we'll simply have to disagree about that...hehe. I think that Elizabeth has a lot of faith in him, and I consider it to be well deserved. It's true that he might lie, cheat and steal as you go along, but in the end he can be trusted to do the right thing, especially when Lizzie is concerned, and I think that's what Elizabeth realizes in DMC.

Oh, I'm sure they won't. He is way to loved for them to risk anything that stupid I think. The fans would absolutely kill them, and if they want to make any money by selling the DVD that's deffinitely not the way to go... So I'm pretty sure he won't die.

if Elizabeth and Will end up 2gether, Jack will b sad, sure, but he's got the sea and the Black Pearl 2 love, and the Jack fans wont b as pissed @ us. But my worst fear is that they mit kill Jack off in the 3rd movie. U no, it kinda makes sense. Elizabeth w/ Will, all the scary monsters gone cuz Jack did something heroic to get rid of them, but sacrificing himself in the process.
