  • english version please...

  • I recognize most of the ingredients easily but a full list in English would be immensely helpful. If the Embassy sponsors this cooking series, their outreach would go farther in providing a recipe list and/or subtitles in English. Delicious-looking radish kimchi - great even without the oysters.

  • I'm feel hungry while I'm watching this video

  • this looks so YUM~~! i love 깍두기 and 굴

  • Yumm im going to go get some kimchi out of my fridge that i just got. YUMMMMMMMYYYYY

  • i like the regular kimchi but how do you eat the one with raw oysters. accidentally bought it without checking the label first. the raw oysters stink, totally ruin the kimchi taste.

  • darn i'm not korean..

    so i don't understand her...

    what a pretty old lady...

    so cute too...

  • I love kimchi. It's really good.Kimchi come's in hot, med,or mild.I tried it when i used to live in louisiana.there were alot of korean people there.I like korean people to.I like to use my finger's to eat my kimchi,if not my fingers, i use chop stick's!

  • umm.. okay.. so u r swearin becuase u never went restaurant who have that yummy food..?

  • uhhhh that was my reply to some guy that said

    korean restaurants re-use kimchi

that was eaten by the customers before.

im not talking about the oyster thing

maybe u should read all the comments before

you act like u know everything. :)

  • about re using kimchi...well i heard a lot about that in korea, and i was told by friends of mine who worked in restaurants. They say it s pretty normal, of course customers dont know about it. I mean, i dont really care i wont notice it and it tastes always great LOL. have a nice time!

  • if they do re use the kimchi

    its not really that bad

cuz koreans use chop sticks to pick it out and place it into their own bowl

    so it isnt that bad

unless american food where you cut and molest the food kinda =D

  • yeah, that's true.. also the fact that the salt, ginger, pepper, onion and garlic kill bacteria in food. kimchi is not really a friendly environment for any kind of bad bacterias. my only concern would be with things like herpes of the mouth and stuff like that... but you know, you can always ask for fresh kimchi and when you leave, just destroy the kimchi that's left over from your meal. that solves that problem! (on your end anyway).. :) but yes, i agree, i'm sure it would be fine regardless.

  • @blabityblabblab Kimchi is always 'fresh' when it's served at Korean restaurants. uneaten portions are supposed to be discarded when the busboys come around the clean your table.,

  • well, i don't know korean, but it looked like they had, radish (duh! lol!), green onion, minari (aka japanese parsley - you can grow it on your window sill at home just look up minari seeds on google).. they had sugar, salt, garlic, ginger (i think!), pepper threads, pine nuts, sesame seeds, oysters with lemon juice over top of them and i think that's it. you put salt on the radish & let it set for 30 minutes, then rinse it off & add the other ingredients. :)

  • @blabityblabblab thank you!! this looks like a very authentic recipe.

  • Thank you very much for this amazing video.

Can you tell me why you put lemon juice on oysters?

  • to remove fishy smell of oyster.

  • Can you please repeat that! XD

  • lmao.
