The GMWA records every year but I took a chance on buying this LP when it came out. I'm SO GLAD I did and I still have it. This was the best GMWA recording in my opinion.
'Thank You for These Blessings' was an interesting song, loved the timing. Then 'Broken Pieces' had a delicious groove that seemed so unique to gospel albums at the time. Of course, 'We're on the Winning Side,' 'Hold On' (feat. Tramaine Hawkins) and 'Every Day is a Day of Thanksgiving' were popular standouts. Like I said, the whole LP rocked.

Nice post John! Didn't know what to expect when I clicked play. I'm glad I did. It has that Gospel sound I grew up on. Good ol' choir music!
