There is no activation. The only downside is the that you probably have a patched version of the game that disables quick returns.

I don't get how you do that combo at 2:24 I know HOW you do it, you hold block, do a a turn around jump kick and Jax is supposed to do the back breaker but it doesn't work for me. A good combo to go along with is to use Sub-Zero's Ice ball to freeze them,jump above & do an Ice Clone then uppercut them,then they'll fly into the clone then u can set up for an aircombo

There's a few combos in there that I used myself back in the day, but quite a few I didn't know about. Some nice ones with Johnny Cage and Lui Kang in there. I remember Scorpion and Meleena used to be combo demons in that game!

It's great to see MK combos before the chaining combo pornography of MKIII and onwards. There are creative and stand the test of time very well as far as watching them goes. Number 3 should have simply been more creative in this type of thing as opposed to High punch medium punch, light kick ect.

the original mk2 sucked trust me. the computer automatically threw you if you try uppercutting or throwing it, and automatically duck and uppercut you if you try punching, and they can punch at longer and shorter distances than a human player. i think armageddon was the best one to date

i can't make combos dude... can anyone explain me how you do that because when i'm doing an uppercut or a roundhouse kick, the character don't recover quickly, i can do that things but with the quick uppercut recover cheat in MK Trilogy, can anyone explain me or is just a very fast "finger move"

very fast finger move... just out of curiousity, if you're doing this on a keyboard aka Emulator on computer, you're probably not gonna be able to pull it off with the 3-button lock or w.e its referred as. I can't do it computer but i find it much easier on an actual joystick.

yeah these kombos work fine for me vs an opponent (even on the snes version) I agree I liked MK2 better than Mk3 it had better gameplay and the fatalities didnt suck. My other favorites are Deception and Armageddon because they went back to the original MK formula.
