I dont know where you are getting your info from but he has never said he would continue the war in Iraq and criticizes McCain because McCain supports the war. That plan of hers didn't just fail 14 years ago... it BOMBED 14 years ago. It was mishandled, sure, but that doesn't mean a reasonably good plan cannot now be created in a Hillary admin. It's interesting how a few positive comments about Hillary can incite so much comment. It's like this folks--Hillary is a contender-- you know it. If she wasn't a threat to Obama's campaign, he would never mention her at all. It's very telling when he ALWAYS talks about her past. He doesn't talk about current trends at all. Also, 2002 was still fresh from 9/11/01. EVERYONE in this country wanted war, be that a Democrat or Republican. What she voted for then doesn't apply today at all.

War is a time sensitive subject, and Hillary's vote was done at a war driven time. Obama doesn't know what he's talking about.
If he was publicly speaking against the war when it was popular at the time he was up for election, why does that judgment not count? He may not have had the chance to actually cast a vote against it, but his speech clearly indicated which way he would have voted if he had. It most certainly does count.

I dont know where you are getting your info from but he has never said he would continue the war in Iraq and criticizes McCain because McCain supports the war. From the beginning he was the only senator to openly oppose the war. He does support the war in Afghanistan which is the only war we should be fighting trying to bring down the people that planned 9/11. When hillary voted in favor of the war obama voted against it and he stood his ground all the way through till today.

David Walker ( the accountant for the U.S. government) says that by 2040 it will take ALL of our budget just to make the interest payments on our debt! We can't afford all the programs we have now! Obama wasn't in Congress literally at the time, so what he wanted doesn't apply at all, since it's opinion. Try taking that opinion into a room in Congress, where debates and opinion matter. In the paper today, it clearly states that Obama wasn't in Congress at the time that decision was made. And as far as war decisions goes, my dear, it's not cut and dry--ever. Americans......we have had 20 years of failure in Washington because of a divided Congress with the Bush and Clinton administrations. Let's unite America, which I believe Barack Obama can do. As all of us should know by now poor Hillary Clinton is a divider. She does not have a chance with getting anything done in Washington. She is just not liked by a lot of people. Barack Obama is a uniter and igniter to get things done and changed for the best for all Americans.

Hillary Clinton has repeatedly mocked and ridiculed Sen. Obama's message of "Hope" at every opportunity she gets, and more recently, when she threw a hissy fit on the NAFTA issue.
However, the day after the CNN debate, she told a crowd of followers in Texas, "I'm ready to turn 'Hope' into reality!"
Now Hillary is trying to steal "Hope" out of Sen. Barack Obama.
Hillary has deceived the American people.
What a shameless plagiarist and charlatan she has turned out to be!

The truth of the matter is, Hillary has unabashedly stolen and used Barack Obama's campaign slogan, "Yes we can!" and parrots it in her speeches; and lately in Waco.
Barack Obama invented the campaign slogan "Yes we can" during his run for the "US Senate" years ago and still uses the same catchphrase in this Presidential Election.
Chris Matthews of MSNBC, caught Hillary stealing Obama's words, and in total disbelief, exclaimed, "Hillary just used Obama's slogan!"

While Obama bravely SPEAK OUT AGAINST IRAQ WAR SINCE BEFORE DAY ONE IN 2002 and bravely voted NO on FISA telcom immunity which Hillary ironically MISSED because she was too busy campaigning in Texas.

Obama is polished and popular. It scares me to think to vote for him when he reminds me so much of certain politicians who were popular and promised SO MUCH, yet nothing much was produced after election. Do you want either one of these types for fours years in the Oval Office? Vote for Obama and you are guaranteed to get the same thing, or worse! Hillary is a better choice because she knows what to do, period!

Obama has proven his rhetoric when he worked with Russ Feingold to eliminate gifts of travel on corporate jets by lobbyists to members of Congress and require disclosure of bundled campaign contributions under the "Honest Leadership and Open Government Act", which was signed into law in September 2007.
He also one of the few senators who bravely voted NO to FISA telcom immunity.
A vote which ironically Hillary MISSED.

can anyone explain why this video, which was working it's way onto the 1st page of youtube's "most viewed...today" section (it's homepage, basically) is now nowhere to be found, even though it has over 90,000 hits, as of this post? by contrast, the pro-hillary jack nicholson video has remained planted on the homepage, with fewer hits.

Obama doesn't JUST hope things get better either.
He actually makes it happen like when he passed a bill in Illinois which mandating videotaping of homicide interrogations, and a law to monitor racial profiling by requiring police to record the race of drivers they stopped and he also sponsored a law enhancing tax credits for low-income workers, negotiated welfare reform, and promoted increased subsidies for childcare.
He didn't just vote present you know, heh heh.

If he isn't a man of the people, then why are so many people voting for him? Why did he win so big in Louisiana? And in 23 other states?
He has over 1 million donors & an even bigger army of volunteers. I just got home from a phone bank in California where we made almost 10,000 calls to Texas. Volunteers across the country made over a million calls this weekend & are on track to reach 1.5 million by Tuesday.

Democrats are realizing Obama can energize a generation and make them Democrats going forward. Obama can get out the vote in numbers never before seen. He will make a few red states blue. He will make purple states blue and he will make blue states very blue. Jessie Jackson, Jr. works for Obama's campaign and has said Obama needed to focus on winning Iowa. All going to Jena would have done is fanned the flames of an already hot issue.
