yes, anyone in training as a healthcare provider knows how hard and stressful the studying is. to have a small chuckle about this will only help us to learn it! Death is never funny, but in order to learn something, a little humor leads to better retention!

All of you think the flowers were a nice touch or funny, but i think its disrepectful. No one should be mocking a patient's death, wether its a real patient or fake one. Grow up
most of the people watching these videos are nursing and medical students who are going to be taking care of patients like this. Any good way for these students to remember it so they can provide for a family member, heaven forbid it be yours, helps.
@vale0o0 People who attend a medical program such as nursing, understand that ANYTHING outrageous, funny, shocking, or repetitive helps with association and memorization. I would much rather them chuckle at this simple "mockery" as you claim then to forget how to attend my loved one in the above situation. So take a chill pill will yah?
@vale0o0 I understand your concern. I am a first-year med student who came across this trying to understand decerebrate/decorticate posturing. This is an example of what we call 'gallows humor,' or 'black humor.' I understand that death is serious, but we (as medical professionals) need to laugh to cope, otherwise the morbidity of our profession will overwhelm us.
@vale0o0 I think the doctor is showing a sign of respect by placing the flowers on the patients well acted "dead body". Any way grow up this is educational.
@coolcutsgal2 I passed! I am an RN now! Thank you for asking. I could not have done it without youtube and allnurses! My computer shut off at 85 and boy was I a nervous reck!
i'm studying for my state board exam for nursing...this really helped me remember the difference! i've had lots of practice questions and never seem to remember...but now it is stuck in my head! thanks!!
