@TheReactCinema All video/film editing programs have similarities...it kind of depends on the end user...for someone getting into video editing I highly recommend Pinnacle Studio for its ease of use. If you feel you are more advanced then go to AVID Studio and if you are a film professional making feature films check out AVID Media Composer...each one of these programs has the skill set for the film you are trying to create.

@SirNoFame If you buy the Ultimate Collection you will get all of the effects, DVD menus, Titles and Montages that come with Pinnacle Studio. You will also get the 6 plug-ins from Red Giant too. So everything you see in the training videos comes with that version. Pinnacle does have more add-on's on there website but you will not see those in your version of Pinnacle Studio (the infamous watermark)!

@TylerMontalto Remember Magic Bullet only comes with Ultimate & Ultimate Colleciton! Magic Bullet software is very intensive with the Graphics Card, it uses this for all of its processing...remember you are taking your video and adding a film filter to every frame of video. If your graphics card can not handle the processing, then MagicBullet will not show up. You can try a few things: Update the drivers on your existing graphics card or upgrade your graphics card.

i bought a Pinnacle studio movie box and it came with pinacle studio 14 ultimate collection software and dont have the magic bullet plug in???? why is this

@whaledic The Magic Bullet software is very intensive with the Graphics Card. It uses the Graphics Card for all of its processing...remember you are taking your video and adding a film filter to every frame of video. The process is quite demanding. If your graphics card can not handle the processing, then MagicBullet will not show up. You can try a few things: Update the drivers on your existing graphics card or upgrade your graphics card.

@XStainedColorsX It is just a cloth green screen...it is easy to tac up on the wall or use some clips to secure it in the background. It is fun because it is cloth...you can wrap it around your body and cut your body out and have a floating head effect.

Every time I begin to drag my movie clip in my timeline, it now tells me to activate DOLBY 2CH ENCODING DECODING, but then i only have an option to purchase Hollywood FX add ons. If I ignore this it doesn't let me use the program at all. Please advise?

@arvingina You have backgound rendering turned on. You can shut that off if you go into the Project Preferences. Sometimes with a slower computer the rendering can be annoying while you are editing.

I have recently bought "Studio 14 Ultimate" for $100 dollars, and it won't let me import footage, it says something about "You must purchase activation key of Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding for Studio 14. I don't know what it means, and I am really mad, someone help!

@Ajax588 Yes all of these plug-in's come with Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection. The plug-in's were created by a company called Red Giant Software. What is amazing is that these plug-in's come with the price of the Pinnacle Software. If you were to buy the 6 diffent plug-in's seperately it would cost you close to $1500. So you are saving a bunch of money by getting Pinnacle Studio...okay I sound like a salesman now...but I cant help myself the plug-ins are that cool.

i just baught pinnacle studio HD ultimate collection.. i installed the program and when i open it up a pop-up tells me that bullet magic looks could not load because of my graphics card.. how will i be able to fix this? do i have to buy a graphics card or could i download it? idk anything about graphics cards.. help.

@allstarislandaz Before buying the graphics card make sure that you have the latest drivers from the graphics card company...sometimes this will fix it. If that doesnt work then you are probably going to need a new graphics card, check the Pinnacle site for cards that work with Magic Bullet.

i got pinnical studio hd ultimate collection 14. when i installed its said i needed a better graphics card or something like that. so i went on and the softwere was very slow and jeked around. i went to effects and everything was there but i could not use it due to the card. when i got a new card and installed it half my effects disappeard. i reinstalled it then all i had was the studio HD and ultimate RTFx and a few red giant effects. so i lost almost all my effects is there a way to fix that.

Dear nick27516,

After installing the graphics card, did you completely uninstall Studio too...before reinstalling the Studio software. Also make sure that you choose to load all of the Red Giant plug-ins too when installing the software.

When i went to "Add New Video Effect" the only options that came up were "Studio HD RTFx", "Studio Ultimate RTFx",  and "RTFX vol. 1"

First do you have Pinnacle Studio Ultimate or Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Collection...these two have that additional plug-ins. Two come with Ultimate and Six come with Ultimate Collection. If you have either one of those then you should have the plug-ins...just make sure that you have loaded everything off of the installation disc that came with Pinnacle Studio 14.

Which version did you purchase? If you like all of the filters that you see in the above tutorial, I recommend you buy the Ultimate Collection. The Ultimate Collection comes with all 6 of those plug-in filters. Another bonus with the Ultimate Collection is that it comes with a Green Screen too.

In order to get all of these plug-ins you see above, I recommend that you purchase the Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection. This contains all of them. If you have studio and are having a hard time finding the plug-ins, then go to the drop down menu. Select "Toolbox" and Select "Add Video Effects". This will open up the toolbox where all of the plug-ins are located. Make sure that you have a video clip in the timeline. I hope this helps.
