first of all LOVE LOVE LOVE ... the best part is at the 3:00 mark and Avi changes grip on his microphone and you know they are going to step it up a notch. I love how both Kevin and Avi sing with their entire body. Kevin is so focused and Avi (of course) gives it his all too. Sigh ... what else is there to say ... LOVE PTX !!!!!!

I love me some AfroBlue and at first, I didn't know if I would like PTX. Until I heard these two songs by them, I melted. Mitch, Ivey, and Kevin... 2:35 (throat-singing), the bass-beatbox battle (1:10-1:16), and Mitch... 3:27, 3:55... They had me after that. My two favorite groups of the season! PTX did bring some new ideas to the A Capella music industry, and AB brought beautiful arrangements of songs. If I could, they'd be the top two, but PTX still would've won. :)

The Pentatonix were the best of an AMAZING set of performers this season on The Sing-Off. I am an a cappella singer who is nearly 60 years old, and this group just BLEW ME AWAY EVERY PERFORMANCE! They are the FUTURE of a cappella!

Ok, so I was a bit frustrated when the Yellowjackets got the boot, but when I stepped back and just listed to the rest of the music that was being offered, I really really enjoyed the sound and soul these guys (and gal) gave. 1st season voted for NOTA because I believed they were the best among the groups that season.

2nd season voted for SCS because again believed they were the best but wasn't upset Committed won.

3rd season I have already voted for Pentatonix, and they better win otherwise, I'm going to believe this show is rigged.

Urban Method: Are trying something new, but the key word there is 'trying,' because they aren't as successful in their attempts.

Pentatonix: All of them are great all around. You can pick out each one's part and just listen to that and have something great. And they are DOING something new. They are the only group that has actual artistry.

@chickeechick24 LOL I watched the Sing-Off last year and couldn't wait for this season. Pentatonix, North Shore, and Kinfolk 9 were my faves, though it was clear early on that Pentatonix was in a league all by themselves (hubby can't stop watching their videos). I gotta admit that I didn't recognize any of the modern tunes, so I looked 'em up on YT only to find I don't like them, EXCEPT the Pentationix versions. I swear, Pentatonix can turn vinegar into maple syrup!
