  • this did not work for windows starter 7

  • Just done what you said and all worked first time. You've made my weekend thanks

  • Great stuff thanks. Will try it now.

  • a million thanks

  • thanks i was lost

  • Great video, very concise and straightforward.

  • Good vid. Very helpful.

  • Ok, so I just plugged in my two monitors using a VGA splitter, but for some reason one of them is not being detected and the screen is just being duplicated on both. So the screens are working, but my computer just wont let me extend the display. Any tips? I'm getting really frustrated....

  • What Graphics Card do you have?

  • how would i record just one screen, if i had dual monitors (with FRAPS)? :)

  • fanks

  • I tried this on my Windows 7 but it only see's 1 screen, and splits the screen in two...

I got a crd screen though you know the big old ones :D?

And my XP only see's one, how do I fix this ?

    Cheers

  • @RestLessIP Most likely problem is the type of Windows you have. Windows 7 Home Premium and Basic will only split the screen, only Professional and Ultimat do dualscreen. I asume this is the same on your xp machine

  • @TheFilm35 Thanks, i got this on Windows 7 though, but i got xp pro.

  • @RestLessIP Maybe you computer can't display two screens. Have a look at the advanced settings

  • How to make 2 desktops? I want to play coop game on 2 monitors using 2 keyboards and 2 mouses on 1 PC. Is this possible? I know there is a way with virtual box, but that may be to slow to run modern games.

  • @TheFilm35 can you show me where is settings panel?

  • I am using Windows 7, do you know how to do it in windows 7?

  • @atomq5 umm finish the video he shows u

  • Hi! do you know how to make both screen vertical or horizontal? I have dual monitor, monitor 1 display horizontal, monitor 2 display vertical, I want both of them to be either horizontal or vertical.

    Thanks

  • @atomq5 In windows 7, you can change the monitor to be portrate or landscape in the settings panel. I don't know if this is available in Vista or xp

  • @TheFilm35 Right click on the desktop and select screen resolution. Select the screen you want to orientate. Under the 'orientation' dropdown box below, change portrait to landscape (or vice versa). hope this helps :)

  • @TheFilm35 I don't have that option under screen resolution. :(

  • @atomq5 your graphics card may not support it then :(

  • @TheFilm35 I am using Intel GMA X4500 Graphics

  • Thx this was usefull: was at resolutions but I didn`t remember what to do Thx again!!

  • @ImAngelx glad you liked it :)

  • Can you do this with Windows 7 starter... :l

  • @999124999 unfortunately not :/

  • i do everthing, im connecting my screen to my Laptop and i do these and 1 screen goes black and one stays on but the one that stays on s the other half so i cant do anything, help?

  • @HDJamieProductions There is every possibility that your laptop is incompatible. Some versions of windows, like winsows 7 starter dont support duelscreen.

  • you the best man, 5 stars

  • thanks man

  • This genuinely helped, i couldnt understand why the monitor was being gay...Fixed now! Cheers.

  • @JakeCanney
