  • You're out of tune, dear.

Choirs make the mistake of giving the singers the sheet music and expect them to sing, without knowing what it's supposed to sound like. The two of you need to spend a few days intensely studying the song. Just listen for a few days and commit every sound to memory. Then you'll be ready to sing better.

Can you do something about the backround noises? They focus the attention away from you.

  • hey you 2 :) sounds quite nice, but you should try to sing less through your nose, just close it while yu sing for practis :)

then it's gonna be even better :D <3

  • its quite all right im sorry for getting so mad thank you for your lovely compliments that you made in the below response and your brother is forgiven thank you again and God bless you both and have a very happy thanksgiving

  • @JohnMelody1 I am very sorry for the comments that have been made. This is my brother's idea as a prank. Any of the awful comments that have been made below ARE NOT TRUE. I think you have a lovely voice and are going to do great things with it. Please forgive me ffor what has happened. I shall make my brother write an apology to you. Again, I am sorry for what has happened.

  • @edwardpaddywagon- EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ask you nicely not to tell me that i cant sing becuase i know that i can this voice that i posess earned me the leadership position over the youth choir at my church and got me the solo in our school choir spring concert and earned me the national title when i was in beauty pageants. And if i didnt hit the notes that i did in the video anna would have been the only one that you heard, but then again thats what you want right,

  • @JohnMelody1 Sorry for the comments I have made. I was just playing a prank on my sister but I guess that I didn't think about how you might feel.

    The Brother

  • @JohnMelody1 Bit of mum's help but I got him to apologize! Again I am so sorry.

  • @edwardpaddywagon- I will add this being naturally high has got a lot to do with it.It can and will affect the tune of the song, trust me on this. Our school choir had the most singers selected for the all region choir program, out of over 300 schools that participated. i mean no disrespect to you, and i do not mean to be rude. And if you are vocal coach and professional singer you would know that singing in your head voice is the correct thing to do. thank you for your cooperation

  • @JohnMelody1 Stop bringing naturally high into it. Yes your voice may be naturally high, but throughout the verse you sang you were constantly changing keys. And you were perfectly capable of singer lower in the chorus with the other girl. Just admit it. You can't sing. Maybe it's because you're used to singing in a choir.

  • @JohnMelody1 Actually, when you sing you sound like you have a cold. No offence. Probably hard not to when I'm not nice but think of me as Simon Cowell.

  • @niixan thank you anna is a natural we both love what we do hopefully there will be more songs to come all that i ask is that our commenters keep their attitudes at a minimum thanks to all

  • @edwardpaddywagon my name is melody and i am that first verse singer no disrespect but i happen to know that i wasn't out of tune on that my voice is naturally high. I have a strong connection to this song and could and would never butcher its amazing message with my singing. Also no disrespect to your next comment please do not slander my high school choir until you have heard us personally we went far and wide and sang on national t.v for the Tim Janis Celebrate America Program on AETN

  • @JohnMelody1 No disrespect to you either, but I am a professional singer and voice coach. I know when someone is out of tune. Naturally high has got nothing to do with it.

  • @SatinSirens Well what does that say about your school's choir programme? Not much at all, I'm sorry to say.

  • Girl singing first verse.. not so good, out of tune.

Girl singing second verse.. nice voice, real potential.

  • @edwardpaddywagon thank you for your comment, it really means a lot to us to hear what we did good and bad. :) and strangely enough, the second verse singer has had no training whatsoever. the first verse singer was in the choir program all through high school. :D
