Just a heads up! i was given a remedy for chemical burns,after you wash out the relaxer pour coke in your hair it prevents scabs and it really works! then continue to wash and condition! (Just A Heads up on dat)

how do u know when the perm is out of your hair after you shampoo it?

@tonidenise864 when u use the shampoo that came with the perm it turns pink when u put it in so u keep washin ur hair until the shampoo is white

You should try Mizani relaxer, It's my favourite. But I would suggest reading the box on it since it is a salon strength relaxer and it is stronger than store bought ones, but it gives you by far the best results and the conditioning properties that are in the relaxer and in the leave-in conditioner leave your hair feeling like silk.

It is always the beauticians that tell me that I should cut my hair every 3 months and I never really knew why because after each 3 months my hair still had the "fresh cut" look. I think they wanted to take my money. Your hair is extremely long so I figured you cut it alot to keep it growing but after 10 years, I guess it's just a myth. I started using the blue magic but I sweat soooo much with it. I tried putting in the same amount as you but girl I drips!

@PlusSizeKimonica Also, you always talk about how frizzy your ends are. I don't think you have split ends or the frizz. I seem to find that people with "good" hair seem to have your problem. It's not really frizzy..... it just wants to curl slightly at the ends and that may annoy you but actually that happens to women with a very decent grade of hair and your hair is definitely decent. It falls too naturally versus someone who would need a super strength perm.

Hey, kimonica. I notice, you kinda..overlap your relaxer. like, you have relaxer on parts that have already been relaxed before.your hair is obviously healthy so im not saying much. but do usually comb your relaxer down so low on the hair shaft?

If your niece already has a relaxer, ONLY relax the NEW GROWTH. You're NOT supposed to overlap. This woman overlaps, but that's her business. Overlapping usually results in extreme breakage and damage. Don't ruin your niece's hair!

I used to use Blue Magic growing up and my hair was very long.. hmmm wonder if this is why?? I have been so scared of using the dreaded "greece" because of all the hair guru's that tell you not to because it closes the hair shaft but it doesn't look like you have this problem at all! :) I may have to invest in a jar. How often do you greece your scalp with it?
