  • I had spitfire and that weird orchid-looking thing.

  • I wanted these so badly, instead my parents took sharpie markers to some die cast cars to add teeth and mean names. Looking back those where much better looking then these.

  • omg I love my Attack Packs! Think mom prolly gave them away though... sad day.

  • We had the best toys when we were kids. Kids today will never know what cool toys are. I miss my childhood.

  • lol the ending XD

  • 0:02 I have that white bat :D

  • Didn't they have a cartoon based on these cars back in the days?

  • i remember these but i couldv'e sworn they were the size of rc cars!

  • @batboy209 There were a few that were the size of RC cars. But most of them were the small cars.

  • Comment removed

  • Bring them back! i wanna collect them again

Now if you try to find them, you get some 5 pack crap (google and find out)

  • 0:15 XD

  • they were my favourites!

  • Does anyone remember the name of this toyline from the 1990s

It was a bunch of futuristic vehicle toys that could connect and combine in different ways. The story was set in some apocalyptic future where aliens take over and a group of humans steal some of the aliens' technology to make their own vehicles

  • I loved those! I still have a lot of them up in my attic ^^ but in europe they had other colors XP

  • @lutsurugi Really? I've been trying very hard to get ahold of them. Do you remember which ones specifically? If you don't want them I'd buy them. Only issue is I'm in the states.

I've been trying to build up a collection but there difficult to get online. Especially the repaints.

There is a site that showcases every one made but if I try to post the link it won't let me.

  • @fatefinger sorry that I'm answering this late, I was on vacation.

yeah I really have about 10 I guess. or even more? I don't remember, I have to get them from the attic first. send me your mail adress so I can send you a pic. I do remember that I have the 2 big ones. and yeah I don't really play with them anymore XP you can name me a price

  • @lutsurugi I sent you an E-mail. Did you get it? I'm really looking for the spaceships and the "battle birds".

  • i stumbled into a video and now have spent thirty minutes watching 90's toy commercial. Why the hell can i remember them all vividly and not a damn thing from elementary school? The people that made these are evil geniuses

  • When I was a kid, I loved these!

  • Shit I loved these toys! I got all the evil ones and my brother got the good guys. My favorite was the fire truck who's front wheels opened up into mouths...kinda sad now that's it's long since gone.

  • I remember these things. I had like 20 but no one else ever wanted to play with them. What a waste of money.

  • where are those toys i like the snake

  • that "SQWUACK!" at the end is hilarious - it sounds so retarded.

  • these toys were the best

  • I had the tiger green flying bird and one mor but I not sure which one it was

  • Anybody remember the tank that turned into a Trex and an armored van that turned into a stegosaurus? Wasn't Transformers

  • @cgvout I actually still have that stegosaurus one. It's on the shelf a few feet away from me. It's called stego-striker and the other one was tankasaurus rex which I have been trying to get.

I've been trying to find them, they are a pain in the ass to find, any of them. Would have to luck out at a garage sale or goowill. Ones in boxes go for like $70.

  • Yes! These things were (are) awesome!

I know I've got them boxed away somewhere...the hunt begins...

  • @ikani87 If you still have them would you consider selling them?

  • @fatefinger Unfortunately, I don't know where they are. I'm sure they're stored in a box somewhere with the rest of my childhood toys. Even if I knew where they were, I don't know if I would intend to sell them, though.

  • old toys are awesome and the terrordactyl too

  • does anybody remember the vampire bat attack pack!? it was the coolest one and I can't find a picture anywhere!

  • I wish Mattel would bring this series back. The idea was too awesome.

  • I just won an Ebay auction for the complete set of the "Attack Pack Alien Invaders" set all MIB! "Galacbite" and "Maggot Mouth are my two favorites out of the whole set. I'm willing to trade the other three for some of the monster truck ones. Two that I want are "King Hiss" and "Riptile." I want to keep my two favorites unless someone responds to this comment with a good offer. I can't refuse. I'll gladly keep all of them if no one wants to trade thanks.

  • for how much?

  • No more than $55. I've looked around, and for how much I've seen them go for $55 isn't too bad. Or I'll sell one of them to you for $10 or $15 plus shipping. Let me know what you think. I want a fair deal, I won't rip you off. Thanks!

  • I'm trying to get some. If anyone has some and is willing to part with them, let me know and I'll be more than happy to buy them from you at a good price. Thanks!

  • dude these were the shiiiiiiiitt!

  • Dude I have all these!!! I started collecting them like a season before hot wheels stopped making them and scored everyone. Wonder how much they're worth now?

  • @StanleySweet14 Well some are worth a bit, some are worth very little. For instance the most valued ones are the repaints or the originals and battle birds and last edition series. The others with the exception of skeletalker (the rarest big one) You know the two they showed at the end of the commerical. I have been trying to hunt them down. The spaceships and big ones are cheaply gotten.

If your in a selling mood I will make an offer. If you tell me what you have.

  • anyone remember that "playset" one. was like a queen or somthing, had green goop that would ooze from it.

remember coveting that damn thing asa child. but never seeing it sold.

  • "Sliminator"! He's on display in my apartment right now. The green ooze is still unopened in my dad's house. Part hornet, part cement truck, all awesome. Sliminator could capture and dissolve other attack packs...Probably my favorite character out of all of them.

  • If anyone knows the name of the plane/dino was in the upper left corner at 00:12 (yellow/pink/black).

I recently found a small attack pack in my attic and seeing this commercial reminded me that I used to have that plan thing. So I'd like a name for it.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

  • @yugisr: I don't remember the name of it, but I had that exact same one! I loved those wild and crazy colours on it. It's lying around here somewhere...

  • That attack pack's name is "Sky Vice", one of the Heroic Cat Pack's Battle Birds. He says hello :D

  • Does anybody remember what the backstory was for these things? I remember there was something about radioactive elements in a rainforest or something.

  • why do you care?

  • Pure nostalgia, I suppose.

  • Why do you think?

What you should be asking is why are U asking stupid fucking questions. He asked because its Nostalgic.

Stop being a dick becuase you were deprived.

  • Radioactive elements in the world's last rainforest, that's right. Heroic Cat Pack wants to protect it, Evil Rat Pack...probably doesn't.

I had (have?) cardboard cutouts of the back of the boxes that explain the story of the attack pack...but after reading your comment and spending an hour looking for it, it appears to be missing.

The website that had copies of it has also been taken down. If I find the cardboard cutout that has the exact backstory, I'll let you know.

  • Ahhh I loved them! Which is a bit wierd because I'm a girl. Oh well. I had the big yellow Monster Truck thingy that could shoot stuff. And the snake. Sadly, I lost the bat one, oh well ^^

  • I had 2 of these, I just found'em [thus my looking this up] I think they may be "Jungle Jaws" and "Grizzlor" but I never kept track of their storylines. Now as an adult I see they are such a ridiculous idea, but as a little boy what could be more appealing then a powerful truck that is secretly a vicious beast. Still among my favorite toys I've owned.

  • the ending of the bird lol

  • I had Splitfire too, man i loved those things!

    Pete

  • mine was Big Bones (monster logging truck). still have him in storage somewhere now where is he at? If i find him i'll do a vid on him sometime.

  • I had Splitfire, Slashcat, Big Bones, and Nightslayer.

  • still got em on my toilet hahah :D

  • omg i miss this attack pack.... :(

Now the toys're pice of Shit!!!

  • I remember seeing one commercial for Attack Pack tanks that turned into dinosaurs; they were a t-rex and something else, but they looked awesome!

  • Man, I remember these things... too bad I no longer had them because I let some guy I thought was my friend borrow them and he never returned them to me.

  • Holy shit! My childhood! It's back!!!

  • sorry sorry

  • new toys suck

  • im starting to try to find and collect them agian, there really hard to find

  • good luck my friend. I started recollecting these two years back and to date I have all the primary ones including the Slimeinator and the Talk back bone beast. Ebay is okay becuase they pop up every once and a while but there out there. Good luck collecting!

  • I got the Slimeinator for Christmas one year. I loved that one!

  • i had him but where did i put him? goota find him and his slime canister. fun fact he turns into a black jungle hornit.

  • OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I had all pretty much all of those!! Those things were awesome!!!

My god! Good fucking old memories!!!

  • wtf @ the end anyways i saw these once in toys r us but i didnt buy em

  • Ahhh! I used to have the green Tank/T-Rex amongst the others... Got it like when i was 8! omg.. Must have em again..

  • i had a few of those... i must have them again!

  • OHhhhhh snap! I all but forgot about these! I had a couple of them!! :)

  • I FUCKING HAD THOSE. THEY ARE BEST.

  • THE BEST

  • I love the commercial and believe it or not I onced owned a Splitfire myself, But I still dont know what Toothslayer's supposed to be.

  • OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE THE COMMERCIAL IS HERE!!! I had the bat, the first version, my dad bought it for me right away, ahhhhh.

  • I believe the bat was Dark Claw

  • i still should have splitfire somewhere among my toys...!why does such an amazing toyline ended..?!?

  • omg cars with sharp teeth!

    (nightmares)

  • Memories. I wanted the white one but it was never on sale in sweden. Had to settle for the orange one.

  • by far my favorite toyline by Hotwheels. I still have a few of these around.

  • I STILL WANT ONE OF THEM!!! :'-(

  • Yeah they should bring them back.
