company,Maverick,had wanted to change the

sound of Hardly Dangerous...and impose strict

dress codes on their fans...what CRAP! How

dare they kill that band?

Somehow I missed this band. I reviewed female

bands for years (1990-2000) for DISCOVERIES

and Rock City News Magazines.

I briefly knew Lisa Black and the "Hardly

Dangerous" band...because I used to hang out

at X-Poseur 54 all the time.

(BTW,where are Renee and David Max? Nothing

on them on Google)

Toni is a tiny little thing, but is a classic bad girl-even drives a '64 chevy around LA. Lisa hung out with rock bad boys in high school, a certain Motley Crue drummer, and was a member of Gwynne's Pandoras, Feline, and Hardly Dangerous, lots of black worn on those gigs...Just the Bangles, Go Go's and Courtney Love made national girl band news from LA. Too bad for hundreds of others who so needed to "make it".
