it's the best gun in the game but tacti-tard armchair commandos are just butthurt because they think a fully automatic rifle like M4A1 should be better because full-auto>burst-fire.

Accuracy! Shooting three bullets and them all hitting right on target is better than spraying 10 shots with only 4 or 5 on target.

i hate the m 16 too. but every time i try to give the other team a taste of there own medicine i feel like a hipocrit for using the m16. so i just let them do it. i also think the over use the mp5 and that green sniper which are noob weapons too. personaly i think that stopping power a waste of perks.

Pro-tip: smoke grenade, then close in so you can spray everything with AK47/M4A1, emptying an entire mag for one kill.

M16 isn't cheap, YOU are cheap, I see your type dime a dozen online doing dumb shit and getting killed. Do you learn from your mistakes? Do you try to IMPROVE, no, you make excuses and expect to line up the kills like in the single player.

Have you finished COD4 on veteran mode? (Without cheats!) Do that, and then you'll have an ounce of credibility.

Yeah, well completing the game on veteran is a good start, but if you can't get kills with the M16 in COD4 online then you need to get a lot more practice... or get the PC version and try your hang at mouse aim.

the best advice i have is have your sensitivity on medium. usewatever you want for your first perk, i use stoppping power with guns im learning how to use bc i tend to get frustrated when i shoot at someone and they dont die (stopping power is bets i think) , and steady aim

it's basically impossible to not do well with this weapon if you can aim. with stopping power it's a one-two burst kills with perfect accuracy quick reloads and a 30 round mag. it's actually bullshit because it uses the same mag as an m4 but for some reason it does way more damage. i hate it sooo much because i'll face someone with it and my aim and reflexes will be waaaay better but they stll win because they only have to press the button once.
