You're a conspiracy theorist. In my opinion, Trump's comments and air time generated a butterflies-feeling in your stomach and many other Obama loyalists' stomachs. Frankly, Trump lit a fire of common sense under voters' asses and people like you were scared by the sense of urgency and spotlight on major flaws in our current executive staff's decision making. Others absorbed Trump's thoughts and could very much approve of and relate to his thoughts. This was, of course, reflected in the polls.

Media feeds us because most of us don't read anymore and over half of us have forgotten how to write and most of us never learned how to count. That's why they want us to vote. How much of a voice can you possibly have when you are forced to just listen to what one person says and all they're doing is yelling? We don't know anymore because we don't know how and all the means of doing so is right in front of us. It's embarassing.
@AnkhHero Uh, no. It seems like it's the opposite for a quite a few Americans. We've willingly given up the privilege of informed decisions because of the allure of white noise and the option to stop thinking but, hey, it's not really fair to blame it as one all-powerful entity. If anyone wants change, turn off the television, computer, radio and start brushing up on your rights, Congressional hearings, Senate rep info and potential presidential candidates.

The "NEWS" is at a point now where they're creating the story, not just reporting it. It would be good if they did something with that power besides pander to the stupids.
@ProfMTH I hear you. But news papers are also media. And, spin has always been there to manipulate. Not reading and just plain illiteracy only explains a small SEGMENT of the population. Most people are just not willing to think beyond what they think they know.
