downtown bailtimore is nice (well the inner harbor) ... but outside downtown its very ghetto. i used to go every month to visit my ex (we had a long distance relationship) and he lived only 5 minutes away from downtown. i wouldn't wanna live there though

im from baltimore and i live in baltimore. i<3 it too its not reaaly a bad place it just depends on where you go and some places may look ghetto but the people are just as nice. you just have to aproch them the right way. i must say there a some crazy heads here. but if they dont cause harm too you or anyone really, you cant say they are bad. and no i am not ghetto even tho i live in the heart of baltimore.

Baltimore is not a good place to live its full of gangs and drugs It is over populated and ran down most of it is ghetto.The bay is polluted.There are some nice areas in b more but 75% is ghetto.I know because I live close by baltimore and I work there everyday.

I grew up in Maryland in Dundalk and I have been to baltimore city and the inner harbor many times , I moved away two years ago at the age of 21 to Virgina and I will never go back. I have a son and would NEVER send him to a school in Maryland especially a baltimore city or baltimore county one. Baltimore City schools are way overpopulated and are very behind in teaching and learning compared to other schools

@ChrissyLynn2587 Really, you wouldn't send you child to the state that has been ranked number 1 in public schools for two (3?) consecutive years? Baltimore and PG don't have good public schools generally, but the rest has some of the finest in the nation.

@partsmet ..There are SOME places in Maryland that are nice and those are the neighborhoods that are full of wealthy people , my ex boyfriends parents live in a very nice place but houses in the area go for $500,000 and up. There are no nice places or schools in the baltimore/dundalk/essex area . I can name three that had teachers/principles convicted of child molestation, dundalk high has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the Country

Some? Please. You had a bad experience in Baltimore area. You are telling me you would rather place your child in a school in West Virginia of all places? That's like saying because New York doesn't offer a cosmopolitan lifestyle i'll go live in Camden, New Jersey. WV doesn't offer good schools. Maryland does. There are no nice schools in Baltimore? How about city college high or school for the arts, both public, both in the top 5% of schools in the nation.

I don't talk how bad your city is but i live here since i was born. every City isn't safe you know so don't try that crap. Baltimore have real people who are nice not like the fakes like New York or LA. i loved Baltimore and have family and friend there. I loved my Ravens too.

Baltimore is a war zone. The nice areas in this video are locked down with cops at night. Literally 2 cops on every corner down there. It reminds me of the green zone in Iraq. Lot's of fun inside though!!!
