  • is this the only worker at korg?

  • I love this thing! I used to have one, sold it, and missed it so bad I picked up another. Well, okay, it was probably the fact that I got it new for $125, how could I say no?

  • @Cambaudio where did you get it for $125? Are there any left? Thanks!

  • @underrealm Hello, no it was a sale on craigslist. The guy just never used it.

  • does the MicroSampler has auto-tempo ? So that it can calculate the bpm automatically from the played pattern...

  • so we from the 350 dollar microkorg to the 2000 dollar m3? there is no korg keyboard with a sampler in between?? I dont understand

  • @CHYNAZKI MicroSampler! a lot more simple and effective, Electribe is for beat making not full length songs:)

  • @NECTIK900 no.... opposite mate, electribe is way better at making whole songs..

  • hello to start making some music that you recommend? electribe or microsampler? thanks

  • THX a lot 4 the video! is it possible to control all of the effect parameters via external midicontroller (midi in)?

  • Can we soon get a working USB-driver? It's 10 months old. It havent worked for almost 3 months, and you've known there is a problem even longer. I really dont think it's an unreasonable demand.

This is a great tool for sampling, but moving samples to and from the computer is part of the expected functionality when buying it. And this not working for this long is what i call a grosse mistreatment of your customers and moreover a breach of the sales-agreement as it doesnt deliver what's promised.

  • microsampler is a synth in korg website

i'm very creative but i don't have much money.

    Q1: Can i use microsampler as a synthesizer? (i think i can)

    Q2: is keyboard mode good?

  • @123darkwar123 You can use it as a synthesizer only in the sense that you can play a sample in "keyboard mode". But it doesn't generate its own sounds. Typically I will sample c standard being played by a software synth like Reason and then play it across the board in keyboard mode to use it as a synth.

  • @123darkwar123

From what I've seen you can record anything into this or use samples/audio sounds downloadable online (such as synths) that can be used as samples which could hypothetically turn this keyboard into a synth, with practically unlimited sound possibilities. You could use clips from movies (quotes/sound effects) over tracks, or music loops from your favorite songs if you wanted to. All of this can be done over top of the synth sound you have taken from either downloads or recordings.

  • @123darkwar123 One more thing.. I do not own one. This is just from reading and watching videos. I plan on purchasing one early next month. I've heard many good things from live performers in reviews about keyboard mode. If you're looking for a synth, and only a synth, I'd go with MicroKorg. This seems more expansive and open for creativity in it's own domain in my opinion though. Good luck on your journey.

  • where was the bit about resampling?

  • what data cards does this use? usb finger drive ?

  • WARNING it HAS NO UNDO !!!!! with those lil butons its kinda hard to dont mistake an overdub !!! i cant believe i wait 700 $ for just a midi player !!!!

  • Holy crap! I didn't understand any of that.

  • @pianoman1969

    Lool

  • if i have a drum loop recorded with no effects, can i apply multiple effects without resampling or do i have to resample it again for each new effect i want to add?

  • If your best friend is a functional button on a sampler, it's time to commit suicide.
