  • i <3 you glastonbury :) x

  • The gem store kinda by Man Myth and Magick was great...(not Crystals UK or the Crystal Man, the other one.. though those 2 are great 2), Labarenth Books and Courtyard Books were my regular stops 2 for books and tarot....Goddess and the Greenman is awesome to!!! So many witchy stores.....Stone Age was one....I could go on.......:)

  • I love this place!!!!! Went there all the time when I was living in southern England, this past winter and fall......whats not to love????

  • In 1964 i lived in the next village ,Street. I worked in Glastonbury. What in the name of God have these Stinking hippies done to th place? I do feel sorry for the locals. What a load of bloody S***. KEN. (LANCS)

  • @sarpritch That's great! Which one is it?

  • @Andyyeovil It's Witchcraft Emporium in The Gauntlet shopping arcade

  • lol i live in street right next to it glastonburys a shit hole

  • I´m portuguese and i used to live in butleigh, near glastonbury.I have to say i love this town. If someone remember me, marco from portugal, mates from street, keiton mandeville, glastonbury, say something.

  • i used to live in this town. & let me tell you. Its full of lunatics, nutters, smackies, & anybody looking to bludge of anything to worship.

  • True mickjpG, when I got opp to leave there couldnt run fast enough. Have female friend still there and I worry about her,

  • I have cousins who still live around the region of street, Glastonbury & Wells.. the all hate the scene of glastonbury....

just a fucking haven for lost souled drug addicts, looking to blame the capitalists for all there life's problems. Maybe is they got of the smack, & went & got a job, they'd be alright. And this place would be lovely. but as usual its the small minority who screw it for the majority. ="what a spiritual shithole'

  • @mickjoG Hi mick! I have to agree with you on some points.I lived in G 2005 and was a chef at the 100monkeys.I had many great times, but also had a hard time dealing with 'new age-wannabees'.Finding True spiritual people was hard, and I definitly learned this:..don't smoke pot!..it's the Highway to loserland.../Tbass

  • i live there...:D

ha...y wud u film glastonbury and put it on youtube its full of hippies

  • How old is this video?

I was in Glast quite a few times last week on business with some of the shop owners/friends and it is completely different!

  • Hi WoodlandAsh

I made the video the same day that I uploaded it to You Tube - March 18 2008, so it's not even a month old. Hope this helps!

  • Strange. Maybe they're just in process of changing the window displays then or something.

What I hate about the high street is that bench outside the church, all the chavs sit there.

  • @WoodlandAsh

well we were there 2 weeks ago and it was exactly as in the video, were you in a different Glastonbury?

  • Hey Russ, thanks for the message. I had no idea that Enlightenment was once a Victoria Wine! How long ago did that change happen?

  • Hi Andy. At a guess I'd say in about 1995/6.

  • Nice video - thanks! Good to see Glastonbury again.

    Russ (ex-"Victoria Wine Co.Ltd" - now "Enlightenment")
