I totally agree. I sent out an item to someone they said they didn't get it...I didnt use delivery confirmation (my fault) so I have no way to prove whether he got it or not. So whatever I just gave him back his total $10 he paid (shipping was free) And they left me a neutral feedback saying how uncooperative I was but at least I refunded them...Ridiculous. I did everything I was suppose to do but because the post office messes up this guy takes it out on me. I refunded him so I just dont get it

2.Buyer bought from a country I dont ship to even though my only ship to county in the dropdown was UNITED STATES. I refunded the payment and buyer still left bad feedback say i dont ship outside usa. EBAY WOULD NOT REMOVE IT.
I just removed my instant payment plan with them racked a bill that I thought my time was worth on dealing with this and closed the account.
I think it is terrible how eBay treats sellers these days. As if their many new fees and rules wasn't enough, they have to add insult to injury. Questions: If a dirt bag seller accepts PayPal, can't they be traced and found easily by eBay security? If the dirt bag sellers fail to deliver what they were [aid for, or they are selling fake autographs, etc.... if they are shipping from their state to the buyer's state, isn't that interstate fraud? Mail Fraud?
I agree the policy sucks, but did you know you repeated yourself like 10 times? Damn. The reason the policy was created was because there were honest buyers who would not leave honest feedback in fear of retaliation from sellers who would in turn leave neg feed back out of animosity. There are sellers who lie about an item being new when its used. Sellers who sell pants that smell like booty in the crotch. I understand why you are upset but in a case like that just move on. It sucks.
Anyone who buys an autograph on ebay needs their head testing. Or ANYTHING which can be forged or faked for that matter.Don't part with any money until you have had the item appraised by a trusted expert. And finally if selling, don't despatch any goods until you have received the money. Simple.
Ebay is no doubt a nightmare and PayPal is even worse. If you want to protect yourselves against fraud Its highly recommended to close your accounts with them immediately or you to will be scammed by both ebay and paypal. You been warned!

The best, when comes to trade on eBay, is to deal regularly with the same sellers with whom you had a great experience. I only buy collectibles maps from England and never had any problem since 2005 I'm a registered member.
I prefer buying some goodies at my local mall even if it's a little more expensive, but at least I have it right away and no hassle with an eventual lazy or crook seller.

Great photos & details in the listings, very clear exactly what he is selling. Yet, buyers will leave negative feedbacks because they claim he "never sent the bottle of perfume, just a stupid piece of paper torn from a magazine". That kind of buyer really thinks they are getting a $200 bottle of perfume for $2.25? LOL.
So ridiculous yet so true. The only thing that is more ridiculous is selling on Amazon. On Amazon if your a buyer you can contact a human being on the phone to discuss any issue but as a seller you can not speak with anybody not by phone or by email as soon as you get one or 2 negs your account is suspended, money on hold for 120 days, no return emails. that's it end of story.

I was doing good u know, as a buyer. I would pay RIGHT AWAY and give good feedback to the sellers. Then one day I started getting no feedbacks as a buyer and when I got the item and give them fb, still no feedback left. So now what I do I DONT GIVE FB anymore because those sellers obviously dont care about them. I am not like before, I wait for FB frist now since i'm the buyer and I have paid full already as soon as i finished my bid.
same here! some dirtbag left me a negative feedback and lost 10% of my feedback ( i had 100% positive) and that one negative feedback had me go to 90% and didn't get to 100% at least after 20 positive feedbacks (mostly from buyers). a buyer has to research any seller's feedback before buying. If you check all the 1cent items you will find many where the seller has many profiles and keeps bidding against him self to make it look like someones bidding. Then when you get into the bid you are actually bidding against the seller himself. The seller also creates tons of positive feedback by using the alias accounts to buy for a penny and then give himself positive feedback.
Ebay is disgraceful!! I sold a car with buy it now, the seller then decided (10 minutes before he collected the car) that he couldnt afford the full amount and that he would only give me part of it for the car!! When I refused he gave me neg and ruined my ratings, ebay did nothing to help me!!

I had a 100 positive feedback and someone bought an item an item under $100.00 and turned around and said the item didn't work and my policy stated "NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS" They did resolution center and sent back the same item but it wasn't the one I sent and it didn't work. The negative feedback is still there and it hurts my business. I gave em proof that I had to open a dispute for a non-payment and when the stupid buyer finally decided to pay, he left me a negative feedback right away.

I have been selling on ebay off and on for over 10 years. I can totally relate to everything you have stated. I have changed my user id off and on over the years as well, had to change my identity, because I exposed crooks, warned folks who were buying from them, saved thousands of unsuspecting buyers from getting ripped off, and ebay suspended me! Violation of their policy! This latest miscarriage of justice with their feedback policy, is par for the course!

Good video. Very true, unfortunately. I got a negative (+ abusive) feedback because I reported the "buyer" for non-payment. I left a negative comment within a positive feedback message for this "buyer" and got an eBay alert advising me that I abused the feedback process !!!
DEFINATELY your most candid video I must say. I agree with everything you say. The only re-course we have is to file non paying bidders and hit them with the non paying strike.

The ebay feed-back system is a farce! Wouldn't it have been great to have gone through all of school and college, with teachers and instructors only able to give students "A's" and 100%'s? Ebay's feed-back system is the same scenario, when it comes to what type of feed-back sellers are able to give buyers. But ebay is in such a "We are GOD here and all of our policies are good ones", frame of mind, that they'll never see the light of day, until they further perpetuate their own demise-

True, feedback is only for the benefit of the buyer. If a buyer has 100% Positive Feedback what you're seeing at worst is the number of items that buyer paid for. Unfortunately, until there is a practical alternative to Ebay, it will continue to be sellers who need Ebay the most, and so shall they suffer.

Amen! E-bay Feedback system is for the Buyer! I had a 100 positive feedback and someone bought an item an item under $100.00 and turned around and said the item didn't work and my policy stated "NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS" They did resolution center and sent back the same item but it wasn't the one I sent and it didn't work. They stood behind the buyer. The dummies don't understand with no sellers there are no buyers.

if all sellers contact ebay about their unfair prejudice bias rating system in favor only of the buyers, they may change back & be fair in allowing both buyers to "LEAVE THEIR OPINION" on each other. a big red negative sign would definitely have an influence on me with who i buy from. ebay has turned into a breeding ground for scam buyers to be able to scam discounts out of sellers so they can turn around & resell the item & them make the profit. it is a stealing gateway for crooks these days.

The negative feedback is still there and it hurts my business. I gave em proof that I had to open a dispute for a non-payment and when the stupid buyer finally decided to pay, he left me a negative feedback right away.
Well you know what? I'm also a buyer on eBay, not just a seller.
You want to play it that way? Fine.
Now if sellers do not give me a tracking number, i just tell them i never received my order. They have no option but to refund my money because they fear I will neg them...

As soon as I have to deal with a dirt-bag buyer, I just delete my eBay account, buy 5 cheap things, and then start over again. It sucks, eBay sucks, but it's sad that no other auction site has the same amount of buyers.

They did (I admit) have the best thing online as a selling resource. But somehow they forgot who actually does all the work that generates their outrageous fee's. I have been selling on ebay off and on for over 10 years. I can totally relate to everything you have stated. I have changed my user id off and on over the years as well, had to change my identity, because I exposed crooks, warned folks who were buying from them, saved thousands of unsuspecting buyers from getting ripped off, and ebay suspended me! Violation of their policy! This latest miscarriage of justice with their feedback policy, is par for the course!

Ways to save ebay :
1. kick the ceo donahoe out of the company.
2. ebay should publicly apologise to all sellers that ebay has a make a very big mistake by emplying donahoe to be the ceo.
3. reverse the feedback policy. Sellers have the right to leave negative comment on buyers too.

Good video. Very true, unfortunately. I got a negative (+ abusive) feedback because I reported the "buyer" for non-payment. I left a negative comment within a positive feedback message for this "buyer" and got an eBay alert advising me that I abused the feedback process !!!

This "sarcastic" video of me ranting about Ebay's "Protect The Dirt-Bag Buyer" Feedback system are my true feelings. They (Ebay) go out of their way to to hammer honest sellers who are trying their best to deal with the "Dirt Bag Buyers" on Ebay. They nail you with little, stupid infractions (because you're trying to defend yourself) but they turn their heads to the thousands of sellers of forgeries.
